Dr. Kent Fung, MD

Via Kaiser, we had a telephone appointment scheduled with him. The rule is that they can call you 30 min before the schedule and 30 min after the schedule. They are also required to make 3 attempts to reach you. Well, he called 10 min before schedule and I was unable to pick up since I was driving. I looked at my phone logbook and this shrewd doctor made all 3 attempts within the same minute, promptly letting him off the hook and enabling him to cancel my appointment. If you have Kaiser like me you'll understand my frustration because it is extremely difficult to get an appointment within a reasonable time. His behavior showed me that he's more interested in ticking a box and getting paid than in helping you or your loved one feel better. Pick a different doctor.

Dr Fung was very nice and helpful. Its sometimes really hard to get through on the phone though. His nurse was also really nice
