I can't say enough good things about him. He did my first drain for fluid in my head. after the other ones failed, he was recommended. We went through alot, he even sat with me at the hospital waiting for my family to get to the hospital for an emergency surgery Ten years later I came in after a bad accident and he was on call, he saved my life. I have epilepsy , seizures and a tbi, but I'm alive and I'm lucky he was there. I wish I was in Bend again. Always loved Elca

Back in 2012 Dr. Yundt was wonderful in undertaking a very complicated spinal fusion. I was always in great hands.

I'm out of pain after 3 years.
I had tried every alternative I could think of to relieve my back pain until I finally relented and sought help from a neurosurgeon. Dr. Yundt came highly recommended. After taking his time to thoroughly investigate and determine what exactly was causing the pain he performed a bi-lateral laminotomy. The relief was immediate. After three years of not being able to envision a future, I had my life back. I can never repay Dr. Yundt for this gift of a new life! However, I can let others know there is hope and there are competent, compassionate doctors that work miracles!

At age 59 I had a epidural abscess that I didn’t realize until I was nearly septic and had developed keto acidosis. Dr Yundt saved my life! He and his team gave me exceptional care. My first visit to his office after leaving the hospital and he told me he was amazed to see me walk into his office As he didn’t think I’d be able to walk again I was such a mess. I had no idea it was that bad. I’m so grateful for his precision and skill and I 100% highly recommend him!

Maybe the worst medical experience I've had. I hurt my lower back earlier this year and have been in severe pain. Had to wait 3 weeks just to see this guy then at the last minute he went on vacation, they subbed in a PA and didn't bother to even tell me. Ended up getting a steroid shot then heard nothing from this crew. I finally called them a week later and they were surprised that I got a steroid shot THAT THEY ORDERED!! They mentioned I need to see Yundt 10-14 days after the shot then proceeded to offer me an appointment 30 DAYS from the shot day. I hung up in disgust. I do not recommend this guy.

I have been a patient for 22 years and at first he treated me like he cared and now he treats people like a number $$$$ and the last time he worked on me he caused severe damage and pain to my leg and takes no response ability he is very good at what he does but when something goes wrong that’s his fault O you signed this paperwork so you can’t touch me.

Dr Yundt is great the office staff are terrible, rude and need to be replaced. Also good luck calling and getting to talk to anyone. If they can't answer the phone the recording say to call back. When you send a patient portal message it doesn't get answered. I truly believe such a wonderful doctor needs to improve his office staff.

A total waste of time. He talks a lot but does not tell you much. He thinks pain shots and physical therapy cures all your issues. Staff is a joke also. I wish I never would have gone there. Consider yourself warned! Best part of the visit was going out the door and leaving.

Dr. Yundt performed "Minimally Invasive Decompression Surgery" on my back on March 2, 2018. I was in extreme pain for about 6 months before being recommended to see Dr. Yundt after an M R I revealed I had a condition that was serious. After contacting Dr. Yundt at Northwest Brain and Spine in Bend Oregon, Dr. Yundt assured me that my situation was very treatable, and had a very good success record. Long story short, Thank you Dr. Yundt for a fantastic surgery, I am now pain free, EXCELLANT!

I rarely recommend doctors to family or friends. I feel that sometimes the advise I give is not wanted, but in this case I feel that I would recommend Dr. Yundt for his great care, and insight into helping me with 18 years of pain which has been allievated by 50%. He does sometime run late on his appointments but that is because he spends so much time with his patients figuring out the best way to help them without missing any information. I would recommend him as a great surgeon.

Dr Yundt quickly responded to my wife's sub-duralumin's hematoma and successfully and promptly performed the necessary surgery to relief brain pressure. This was her third trip to St Charles for her "brain bleeding" problem. He was very straight-forward with information on diagnosis, need for immediate surgery and post op follow up.

Dr. Yundt performed a lamenectomy on me back around 2010 . The results were quite favorable. He told me in advance that I may not be 100% afterward, but I would be far better. He was honest and correct. My improvement was about 80%. He advised that a good physical therapist or chiropractor could get me the other 20% or close to it. He was right on as the next several years were pain free. He mentioned that further procedures may be necessary. I would use him again if needed.

What a Quack!!! He tells me he has to do his job but only offers To inject me with cortisone even after I tell him I have had bad reactions and it does not help me on more than 1 occasion. I then asked him why would he torture me knowing this is not going to work, he says he does not want to be sued! hwe is more interested in injecting cortisone than actually helping recover from compressed nerves as shown on an MRI and bone study!
