Awful experiences with her
Although the staff are great and actually knowledgeable about Type 1 diabetes, she is not. The recommendations she gave me were not only way off but may have very well ended up with me in the emergency room because I was getting too little insulin. Her 'this works for everybody' was an immediate red flag because nothing works for everybody. Condescending and rude, treats you like a widget rather than human being. Find someone that actually knows diabetes management and cares enough to talk to you.

Went above and beyond to get proper care for me. Love her staff. Very quick to respond when I have questions/needs. Which was a lot at one point! Changed my life with my insulin pump ; )

Dr. Kissell is very stern and condescending. But seems very knowledgeable in her field. I was dropped as a patient because of missed appointments during the Covid. The manager never posted my appointments in the Hospital Portal which I rely on. I have never had a problem with my other Doctors.

Dr Kissell was my doctor for four years in Sayre. He diagnosed my condition and helped me get appropriate treatment. She was through and always took the time to answer questions. I highly recommend her.

Was a patient of Dr K in Sayre - she is a competent and caring physician . She is the only one who recognized that I had Hyperparathyroidism secondary -but she had left Sayre before we could pursue treatment. I did not get further help from that facility and had to do self referral elsewhere. It was the problem and I praise her for recognizing it or I would still be suffering .

dr. is an asset to Guthrie. She is outstanding. It is what makes this type of a doctor a reason to travel so that you could be seen with someone with her knowledge and her expertise. Her professional mannerism is nothing short of excellent. Throughout her entire overloaded workday she makes you feel like person and patient that she has. She reaches you were a very personal level and I am totally impressed. There are times where the week might be long but the quality of care knowing that you're in the hands of someone that is so great at what she does outweighs any type of short delay that you might incur. Bravo and hats off to Guthrie for being able to recruit a doctor of this caliber

I have some serious issues with this doctor. Take the time and go somewhere else! There could have been some serious issues with my child had I not known about her condition for 7 years already with another doctor. We were very informed to her disease and when her doctor retired we tried a local doctor to save us the 3 hour drive. The drive is well worth it and we will find a new provider back up there.

Kerri Kissel saw my on my first appt and sent me straight to the ER bc my BP was high. She commented "do I need to call an ambulance or can I trust you will go there without going to McDonalds?" This should have been the first sign for me to NEVER see her again. But I went back. The next appt was all students, she literally just stuck her head in. At this appointment, they insisted I start diabetes weight loss shots, even though this is not what I wanted. I had lost 40lbs on my own and do

I like Dr. Kissell. She is knowledgeable and nice. Although she is always late for the appointment, I don't mind waiting for a good doctor. However, her office receptionists are very rude, and did not care about patients' need at all. I had the worst experience ever with her receptionists since I started seeing a doctor!
