"Dr." Luzzo is both a "doctor" and a sales person for Boston IVF. I will never comprehend why someone who lacks all empathy for others would get into this field. I have stage 4 endometriosis, and am also approaching 40 years old. I am at a point where my time is very precious in regards to my fertility...but it was not at all urgent to Dr. Luzzo, nor was anything else. I had an MRI of my pelvis due to unclear ultrasound results, and was not told until 2 MONTHS AFTER that my endometriosis was "too severe" to try IUI. This, and other important information regarding my health was SPEWED at me a mile a minute in a manor that was impossible to keep up with. I urge anyone that is struggling like myself, to make a better choice than Dr. Luzzo or Boston IVF- which is essentially a fertility factory. No one should have to feel like this when faced with these tremendous obstacles. You won't receive any ounce of support, comfort, or warmth from Dr. Luzzo, nor will she go out of her way for you.

Everything about my experience with Dr. Luzzo and her team was disappointing and demoralizing. She is seemingly only capable of speaking *at* a patient, rather than *to* a patient. She does not care one bit whether you understand the firehose of information that she points at your face. We also only spoke with her twice -- in an initial consult, and after the cycle was complete. In between, it was a rotating cast of random nurses delivering information without any explanation. I never felt like there was a point-person to go to for my care. At no time were any of the major decisions that she made for me ever actually explained. This includes a surprise decision to use an expensive procedure that we were told in our initial consult would not be necessary for us, as well as a decision about what trigger shot to use. Again, these decisions were not relayed by her, but by other people, and never explained. Zero trust in this doctor.

After years of unsuccessful IVF treatment, I feel very lucky to have found Dr. Luzzo and her team! She is kind and listens well, and when you tell her what hasnt worked for you in the past, she makes a new plan! We had 3 failed transfers, and became pregnant on our first transfer at Boston IVF. The whole staff is awesome and treat you like a friend when you spend so much time there. I was actually a little sad to "graduate" from the clinic. Dr. Luzzo is the best and will return when I'm ready to try again!

I have had nothing but drama with this office. I received 4 calls in a half hour with test results that they couldn’t find. Then they found them but I had to wait for the doctor. Then only once I got aggravated did they answer my questions. Now I received a call from a pharmacy telling me I’ve got a prescription waiting. I called and asked for an explanation but have received no further communication. I have received minimal communication at best. She makes me feel like nothing more than a paycheck. Stay far away from this office. It’s not worth it.

I would not recommend going to see this doctor!!!! I had a SonoHSG and she found a poylop that needs to be removed. She told me she does surgeries while your on your period. I had a 46 day cycle and called on cycle day 1 and she is booked up this month because she only does 1 day of surgeries a month! How can she wait until your on your period to do the surgery and then only do them 1 day month? Not everyone gets their period the same time each month!

Any question you ask the answer will be "I don't know". Also, you will discover you miss medicine because she didn't ask you to take it.

Dr. Luzzo has always been incredibly patient, innovative, personable, compassionate, and optimistic. She was by far the best fertility doctor that we saw and I recommend her very highly. We saw several doctors over several years and she made such a huge difference with us having our son, who is almost 3 years old now. We went on to have twins after we moved, but used her strategies which lead to our success. She tried different approaches and drugs, which worked for us. Try acupuncture too!

Thorough, involved doctor. Spends adequate time explaining complex treatment plans. Very accessible- even when "on leave". Sensitive to the stresses of undergoing infertility evaluation and treatment. Entire team helpful and caring. Highly recommend!
