After IOL lens surgery I had three procedures on each eyes and 51 visits within 2 years they couldn’t fix my eyes now I have nightmare driving at night and I have double vision and blurry vision on my left eye. I am to find a good doctor to replace my lens.

If you want to feel like a piece of meat at a cattle call where you pick a number same as at a counter service this is the place for you. Without any knowledge of options Dr. Assil performed monovision lasik on me not knowing really what that meant and only being told after the surgery that within a few months it should balance out it never did, I was always feeling off balance and then finally had to see several opticians to figure out glasses to be able to see at night, having odd lenses made this a huge strain on my eyes where I could not actually see at night any more. I spent thousands of dollars on opticians and glasses to find a solution but finally had to see another surgeon and have my eyes balance out with PRK surgery again at another huge expense. Prior to this procedure I was given special lenses for several weeks to test what the final result would be and I was told that at any time they do monovision they always give you test lenses to make sure you are comfortable

As someone in the medical field, I pay close attention to office staff competence, communication, expertise, bedside matter and general “good guy” qualities. Recommended to me by several friends, I made the treck up to Beverly Hills from the South Bay for my first cataract surgery, and flew cross country after relocating to the east coast for my second. Technical staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and Dr. Assil is the best. Could not be happier with my results / vision and with him as a good, personal physician. No ego, no games.

Wonderful experience and results! I have had 20/20 vision now since 2002. My uncorrected vision was -6 diopters. The whole process was very pleasant and I was in and out of the office in under an hour.

Outstanding is the only way to express my wife's and my experience with the Assil Eye Institute. It has been over 6 years since my wife and I had the multi-focal lens implant surgery.
