Easy to talk to. Encouraging and it is not like seeing a psych who just scribbles a script and you are outta there. He takes time!

Finding a doc that listens is super hard. I'm very passive so it's extremely hard. I never feel like I'm getting less than 100% from him. Also best office staff

I have been very pleased after one visit. He has taken time to really listen to my issues and try and help. Feeling better already with his course of treatment after years of little to no help from other courses of treatment.

I was already seeing another psychiatrist at the time, but my neurologist referred me to Dr. Bays because my they didn't like the amount of valium my current pshych was prescribing me. On my 2nd appt, Dr.Bays decided to stop my prescription of valium cold turkey, I'd been prescribed them for 5 years, daily. I begged him to at least put me on a fast taper, he declined in terse, condescending manner. I called back, a nurse told me he would no longer speak with me, & to enter drug treatment,

I had my 3rd appointment scheduled 2 months ago with Dr. Bays (Dr. Bozo). Since then, I now qualify for Medicade. I called and told them this 1 week before my appointment. They told me they would have to refer me to someone else, but i should keep my appointment anyway to make sure my meds were extended. They also said a copy of my records would be made at that time. Well, after 47 minutes, no records made, I was told "He can't see you because he had a patient that went over their time today" Ha

I went to Dr. Bays 3 times. He was over 45 minutes late each. He was condescending most of the time as though I had no idea what I was talking about for my own mental health. I do not recommend him.
