Dr. Kevin Belasco, DO

Dr. Belasco went above and beyond to be available for my wife and her team at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach during her hospital stay. His professionalism and knowledge was a HUGE help to her and her team as they tried to figure out what was happening with her. We cannot recommend him enough!!

Went so many dermatologists with no improvements then my new PCP referred me to Dr. Belasco. After many years of struggling, he immediately knows what that is. He gave me different diagnosis and treatments than other dermatologists and all cleared up after 2 weeks. Thank you, Dr. Belasco!

Dr. Belasco saved my life. That's not for dramatic effect or an over-exaggeration either. I was covered in psoriasis from head to toe and my joints felt like I kept fires lit inside my body. I could no longer live like that, no longer be a gross, depressed outcast always in pain, always uncomfortable in public, etc etc. Because there's no true 'cure' my thoughts would often end up....well, "negative and worse" will suffice. You know what I'm talking about. After seeing several dermatologists and being told there was nothing left to try I was close to resigning myself to a shut-in agoraphobic lifestyle. My wife convinced me to try one more doctor because a friend recommended him. He listened to me, was caring and compassionate and wanted to treat me not just see me. I immediately trusted him and said I'd do anything. Within four months of treatment my skin was 95-100% clear and my joints only hurt when it rains. I got my life back.

It has taken me 2 years to find a good dermatologist. I am so pleased with my experience here. Dr. Kevin Belasco is a great dermatologist, he is very kind and professional, a very good listener and explains the procedures he recommends for you thoroughly. He removed a few skin cancers from my legs and chest and one which needed stitches and I did not feel any pain I'm healing nicely. He also follows up after procedures to see how you are doing. I really appreciate that. His office staff have been fabulous from the time I called to make a appointment with Violeta to the help I needed in the back office from Jessica and Kathryn.The ladies in this office are kind, caring, professional and make me feel like I matter. I would highly recommend this dermatology office.

Fantastic doctor and staff!

After 10 years of seeing so many different dermatologists before I found Dr. Belasco, my skin problems finally fixed with Dr. Belasco. Now I regained my confidence on my skin, going to the beach, and showing off my clear skin. Dr. Belasco is a great dermatologist who is eager to assist and help his patients. He actually listens and doesn’t rush you out of the room.

Dr. Belasco is the best. I had skin issues back in 2014, for 2 years. I've been visiting many other dr. and spent over $1000 money, none of it worked, until I met Dr. Belasco, he gave me the medication and he told me everything will be cleared in 2 weeks. I couldn't believe it. But it did. I never went back visit the 2nd time.

I have been going to Dermatologists for 65 years. I am 80 years old. Dr. Belasco not only properly diagnosed a rash that I have had for several years which had been misdiagnosed by two different Dermatologists (they both said it was a fungus, when it was Psoriasis) He ordered a biopsy of the rash instead of just guessing. Then he prescribed the correct medications to clear up the rash. But, the most important part of my first visit to Dr. Belasco was his follow up. I received two personal follow up calls directly from him, not an assistant. This is a Doctor that cares about his patients, how novel.

Excellent experience with Dr. Belasco and entire staff at Blue Harbor Dermatology! Very through, but efficient and effective! Highly recommended!!!

Only saw him once b/c I had referral issues. But he seemed very knowledgeable and would’ve loved to have seen him again. Was a little rushed, and a little short b/c of dealing with my inefficient medical group, so won’t fault him on that. And one tiny issue with a lack of communication with the front desk on smthg, but she was very understanding and apologetic and I appreciated that. All in all, wish I could’ve seen him again.

Dr. Belasco is a great doctor, I highly recommend him! He's friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and takes the time to listen to your concerns and answer any questions you may have, with the ability to explain things so that anyone can understand them.

I have followed Dr. Belasco since he practiced in Riverside many years ago. I live in Redlands, but it is absolutely worthy to drive over hour and half to see Dr. Belasco in Newport Beach for my skin cancer follow up. All our family see Dr. Belasco if any skin issues. He is an excellent dermatologist who is one of kind.

I couldn't have been happier with my visit to Dr. Belasco today! It was especially refreshing not to wait a month for an appointment, followed by a 30-45 minute wait to see a doctor, unlike a typical appointment with my last local dermatologist. Dr. Belasco and his staff were great, and had me in and out of the office without delay. After losing confidence and being discouraged by the last dermatologist I saw in my network, I wish my PCP had referred me to Dr. Belasco from day 1!
