You know…I’ve read some of the reviews here and I just wanted to explain the difference between being a compassionate talker and a genius. Dr. Bockhold is a genius neurologist. He has cared for my wife, mother-in-law who is 94 and she is doing great. I value smart people. I value Dr. Bockhold!

There are much much better options
I was misdiagnosed and WAY over medicated. Unless that is what you are looking for - suggest that you go elsewhere - this was the worst doctor and office experience in my life.

There are much more personable & caring physicians elsewhere. He doesn’t return messages and has little to no interpersonal skills which are extremely important for superior care. He lacks warmth, concern & communication skills. He probably would be best served in a lab doing research. I will be seeking care elsewhere.

Dr. Bockhold has been my Neurologist for several years. He is a brilliant physician who is very thorough, gentle, kind and compassionate. He put my fears of more serious conditions to rest and monitors my health carefully. Best neuro care I've had. I highly recommend him. His staff is also wonderful; they are all very kind and professional. The nurses have advocated for me with insurance issues several times, and done so cheerfully. A visit to this office is always pleasant.

Dr. Bockhold is amazing!!! SO knowledgeable and SO thorough! Spends a lot of time with you and really gets down to the issues. Both my husband and I go to him. I would recommend highly. The office staff, ancillary staff, and nurses are also amazing--friendly, caring, and take time to answer all your questions.

Dr. Kevin Bockhold is very personable and has a relaxed but thorough approach to treating me. I have never had to wait more than 15 minutes to see him and I go to the Warrenville location, although furthest from me, which has a wonderful staff. The nurse that takes us to our room is always smiling and engaging with my two boys. I always have a positive experience. I cannot understand how he could possibly have poor ratings!

If you would like to see Dr Bockhokd bring plenty to do . I always have a very long wait to see him and have plenty of time to look for a new doctor on the wifi as I wait in the office not at all satisfied with the office, the doctor or anything associated with the visits at all. Looking for a neurologist who is more like my neurosurgeon.
