If accident had to happen, such capable hands!
Excellent care for broken elbow and triceps rupture.. Seen day after accident. Dr. Burton answered all my questions and took his time. Has a great dry sense of humor. If I could give him 10stars I would.

Excellent people skills
I developed a granuloma on a finger and had to see an orthopedic surgeon. Another doctor recommended Dr Burton and my experience has been great. Dr Burton is very pleasant and friendly, two qualities that are very important to me when visiting health institutions because I get white coat syndrome. I felt at ease in every visit. Although the visits were not long enough due to the kind of injury, he explained everything I needed to know. He treated the condition one step at a time, and performed surgery when the time was appropriate. Appointments were scheduled in a timely manner, and wait time was minimal. Also, staff at the Rocky Hill center was beyond and above, very professional and courteous. Surgery center is very well equipped and the staff there is also very professional and caring. Dr Burton is a great doctor, good sense of humor, respectful, and caring. I would definitely recommend him.

Needs to work on his people skills. Quite dismissive, presented as a little pompous. Did not take concerns seriously. Laughed them off. And even became argumentative. I should have walked out at that time. He made inappropriate comments and facial reactions to a scar on another part of my body not related to the visit. Furthermore he took x-rays although I already had. Still was unable to tell me what was going on although had numerous x-rays. I question his motives regarding decisions on plan of care. Not spending any more money on this one. By the way, this was not a serious injury. Total waste of time and money. Go somewhere else.

Good surgeon, terrible doctor! Didn’t care about issues after surgery, very arrogant! I left with a tear in my tendon, a fracture etc! He did nothing!

Dr. Burton performed "trigger finger" surgery on both my ring finger left hand , and my ring finger right hand. My fingers are now feeling great, I am not in any pain since having had surgery and I am able to use my fingers as before--and with ease!!!. He has a pleasant personality, he listens carefully and answers all questions in a thoughtful and "understandable" manner. Hie is not only a wonderful surgeon, but is a caring, highly skilled and informative Doctor.
