Ok for very simple illnesses
He struggles with identifying problems, even simple diagnoses. When he gets confused or is unable to immediately identify an illness as something common and easy, he will just deny your experience completely and write for antibiotics. He likely should have chosen a niche specialty to cut down on the areas in which he needs to be knowledgeable. He is adequate to see if you know your issue is something very simple and obvious, or if you know you need antibiotics, but take his medical opinion with a grain of salt.

I questioned his prescribed meds to me, and then he agreed on a lesser dose since tests were incomplete. Seemed like he was unsure what to prescribe until I went over a few options with him.
