Dr. Kevin Fussell, MD

Doctor Kevin Fussell is patient, friendly, professional, and very kind. When I first began seeing him, I had just had knee replacement surgery. I had developed two blood clots about a month later and was referred to a pulmonary doctor at Scripps. I chose Doctor Fussell, after doing some research on him online. I came across a video of him talking about why he chose to study medicine. Doctor Fussell went on to say, that he was genuinely interested in keeping the lines of communication open and honest with his patients, as well as always having the best interest of his patients in mind. Kevin has been my doctor for over 2 years now. I’m 70 years old and this is the first time I’ve known a doctor like Doctor Fussell. Sincerely,Lisa Franovich

Absolutely the worst doctor. He had the audacity to literally scream at me when I disagreed with him about the reason for the collapsing of my lung which if he had listened to me would have figured out my lung has collapsed multiple times due to my neuromuscular disease. But instead of listening to me, he decided to shout over me and tell me all my doctors hated me, they all talk about me behind my back and say horrible things about me, and all hate being my doctor. What a disgusting, vile, unprofessional, inappropriate thing for a doctor to scream at his patient. Do yourself a favor, and go to ANYONE ELSE. Also he will spend less than 4 minutes with you, use the timer on your phone like I did. He tells your insurance he spent 45 minutes counseling the patient.

Over the years Dr Russell has provided my pulmonary care. He continues to be professional and clearly responds to the real and imaginary fears of his patients. I will miss him after May 15 when leaves for Virginia. Virginia is very fortunate to have him!
