I was referred to Dr. Ju for a 2nd opinion for a badly herniated disc. He offered me a simpler procedure than the low back fusion I was facing. It worked beautifully and I was so happy to go home the same day. In 3 weeks I was walking 10k steps a day. I’m really happy with his skill & bedside manner.

Dr. Ju and his staff are the absolute best! I was diagnosed with degenerative disc disease, spondylolisthesis, and a pars defect n my late 30s. My husband had a severe case of spinal stenosis. He is a 66 year old farmer. When we first saw Dr Ju my husband could barely walk, had nerve pain in his thigh and could not urinate which resulted in a full time catheter. Dr Ju was very nice and thorough and explained everything in detail. My husband had his surgery on 06-28-24. He is now getting on his tractor and doing everything except for very heavy lifting. Also bladder is working again! We feel like God led us to Dr Ju. I can't say enough good things about him and his staff. Thank you doesn't seem adequate.

Dr. Ju was so professional, knowledgeable and had such a caring concern for the pain I was in. He explained everything about the surgery in detail and even though I was terrified to go through with it, he assured me he had done this many times and was confident I would feel better after the recovery. The recovery did take time but I’m very happy to say I am pretty much pain free. Dr. Ju never wavered in his attention to my well being during this entire first year and I am so thankful he was my doctor.

Dr Kevin Ju was very accommodating. After an introduction and understanding of my chronic issues, we examined at length the symptoms, identified root causes, explained the diagnosis, and provided a plan of treatment moving forward. Dr. Ju showed no signs of a pre-determined timeframe for patient contact during our visit. My inquiring questions were answered directly and in needed detail. I was immensely impressed with Dr. Ju and his medical assistant Diana.

Dr. Ju has been such a blessing! I had been battling with severe pain to my back and right leg due to a herniated disk. It was so bad I couldn’t walk I did not leave my house because the pain was just too much! Dr. Ju explained what exactly was going on with me and was very informative about the surgery and recovery. The day of the surgery he explained again and was very attentive and answered all my question. He made me feel secure about my decision for surgery. I’m now almost 7 weeks post OP and so far I have been pain free! I still have another 6 weeks of recovery and healing but so far surgery was the best decision I have made, Dr. Ju is the best doctor I could have chosen for my surgery!

My experience with Dr Ju and his staff was excellent. He is definitely a gifted surgeon. My surgery for a stenosis in my neck went great spending only 2 days on pain meds. Dr Ju was well worth the 5 hour drive to see

Great bedside manner! My disk replacement surgery went extremely well with no complications. The pain and numbness in my arm were gone within just 3 days post surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Ju if you are considering cervical surgery!

Yesterday’s visit was post op, about seven weeks since surgery. Had X-rays to look at my L4,L5 healing progress from fusion done. I feel so much better but still need to be careful as 90 days out will be last week of Dec., but Dr. Ju wants me to continue till after first week of Jan..Happy to have very little pain now, just at the surgical site. Yay! He answered my questions about my bone condition. Good visit for me, please don’t wait too long to seek help, you’ll get questions answered and you won’t be pushed or rushed into doing surgery. You’ll know and that’s where it should be.

This fall I spent 10 weeks with inexplicable pain, down my right hip and leg, that increased every week. After my primary and orthopedic specialist trying to help with no avail, I was referred to Dr. Kevin Ju. At that point I was debilitated from normal activity and ready for the quickest way to relief.Dr. Ju was kind, professional, understanding, and to the point. As soon as I met him I knew he was someone with the heart and expertise I could trust. He presented me two option. One would be hit or miss in providing permanent relief (a shot), while the other was a surgery, with an incredibly high success rate, known for providing almost instant relief. Although it is back surgery, it was only minimally invasive and from what I read most patients woke up from it with instant relief.The same was true for me! After 3 months of pain, my only regret is having not met and been helped by Dr. Ju sooner.

Going to see Dr. Ju this past spring after more than three years of pain was life changing. My only regret is not doing it sooner. I had a bilateral pars fracture and needed a disc replacement at L5-S1. I had tried medication, pain management, injections, chiropractic services, and nothing was helping. After several weeks of healing and now after 3 and a half months I have my life back. I can sleep, exercise, and live my life pain free. Going to see Dr. Ju was the best decision I’ve ever made. I was in so much pain from a herniated disc I couldn’t sit for very long. The pain was excruciating. I had the surgery and I haven’t had any pain since. He is amazing!!

My surgery was a lumbar microdiscectomy due to a sports related injury. Dr. Ju explained everything on what to expect since this was my first ever surgery. Obviously a back surgery is a stressful event, but Dr. Ju was a calming presence and I felt reassured knowing he was the one doing the procedure. I will contact him again in the (hopefully unlikely) event that another back surgery is needed further down the road. I can't recommend him enough.

I was suffering from terrible nerve pain due to a herniated disc. Dr. Ju did a discectomy and the surgery relieved my pain immediately. The staff was very helpful in getting my surgery scheduled quickly. Dr. Ju took time to answer all my questions and explain the procedure. I am so thankful for Dr. Ju.

I had been experiencing neck, shoulder/arm, and headache pain for a few years my doctor referred me to Doctor Ju at the Texas Back Instutute in Rockwall Texas. Doctor Ju determined I suffered from cervical spinal cord impingement in 3 places and he performed 2 level ACDF surgery on my neck and the surgery went great. I no longer suffer from the above mentioned pain anymore. He and his staff did a wonderful job and I could not be more pleased. I highly recommend him if you need any kind of spinal surgery.
