Dr. Kevin Kiely, DMD

Dr. Kiely is the best Dentist I have ever seen. I recently moved to VA and was skeptical because I had gone to one of the best Oral Surgeon's in Dallas for 30 year. I literally sat in the chair like a vegetable while he skillfully placed and implant with no more than standard numbing. I think he is not only a skilled surgeon but the fact that he really cares about his patients was obvious.. He is a good human being and is not in it solely for the money like so many health care providers are these days.

Integrity

i was surprised to get a consultation appointment set for the next business day. I was told that they had a cancellation on Monday for 2:40. I showed up at 2:19 and was told b that my appointment was actually 2:15. The receptionist went to the back to inquire and I was then told that the next available consult was NOVEMBER 27. That is an impossible wait for someone with 3 cracked teeth. I'm assuming that there was no confirmation call or text because I was given the appointment on the prior business day. I would have come in earlier as I was in the parking lot prior to 2:00. It is surprising that none of the oral surgeon practices in Williamsburg area had some extra space built into the schedule for urgent cases. I am sure Dr. Keily is a very good doctor, but I will never know, because I couldn't get past the gate guards at the front desk. I was referred by my dentist as well as an additional dentist that was nice enough to see if he could help me. I am frustrated with the system.

All doctors should be like Dr. Kiely. Excellent surgeon, describes the problems very well, excellent communicator during surgery, and so on. AND understands that costs may matter to some of us. He knows the overall prices, the prices w/insurance are readily available, and he is more than willing to advise against procedures that may be common but are not really needed.

Dr. Kiely and his staff were so patient with my teenager. The facility is clean and employees go the extra mile for patient care and comfort.

I would highly recommend Dr. Kiely. In my opinion he is the ultimate professional.He explains every detail to procedures & asks if you have any questions. He evens squeezes in a moment for small talk. Dr.Kiely 's staff reflects his professionalism. I would recommend Dr Kiely to family & friends !
