Will throw you away like trash
If you want to feel like you're treated like an actual human being, I would recommend staying away from this place... They will treat you like trash and just throw you out with no explanation. I've been seeing the Dr Kristl over probably 6 years now, and Candi for a year or so, and I've never been more humiliated in my entire life. I've had migraines since 2014, and I was hoping for answers, but I was totally wrong about either practitioners... My last visit we had a plan, that we would continue the nerve blocks and I would be seen at IU neurology to see if they can find something, come up with a game plan and then Candi take over. Boy was I wrong. Walked into the office this morning for my nerve block, to find out I don't have an appt. Apparently they dismissed me as a patient without me knowing, they 'said' they sent out a letter certified but I never received it and they even acknowledged that the letter has not received a signature yet. Doctors have no care in the world.

We were able to get an appointment as a new patient within a couple weeks. Office stay was very friendly and helpful. Dr Kristl was fantastic! He gave us a very good amount of time face to face explaining how we could understand and let us ask as much as we needed. I never felt rushed or like I was “stupid” I can’t tell you how unique this was! Cannot recommend enough!

I have been with Dr. Kristl for over 15 years. He listens to what is going on and then advises me from there. I try to always have a list, so he can get in and out. I appreciate the ime he takes with me. His demeanor may seem rough to some. he is only one person. He has helped me through many pains.

Felt Abandoned & Half-helped
Was there to help me at a troubling time, but dropped me as patient in a moments notice.Frequently failed to follow up with me on referrals, never prescribed enough bog standard medicine to get through appointment periods, wouldn’t work directly with pharmacy to easily write new scripts (required call-in to sometimes impatient help), later kicked me to the curb and left me to search for a psychiatrist on my own with no prescriptions to cover the interim. This is despite some of these medicines being dangerous to quit. Often felt like a burden or afterthought at this practice. If I had more warning and a replacement in place maybe things would be different.

Great DR, very kind and caring.
Dr. Kristl is great. He always spends a lot of time really listening to me and does not rush appointments. This is probably why he runs behind. His nurses and other staff are all nice. They have a busy office and sometimes don't get back to me the same day that I call, but they always do eventually.

I have only been a patient of Dr. Kristl for not even a year. I was very shocked and upset when all of a sudden I was told Dr. couldn’t do anything else for me and was going to send me to a pain doctor. I have RSD, restless leg syndrome for 30+ yrs that is neurological and has nothing to do with pain. Dr. changed my medication one time and it didn’t work for me, and I called several times to let them know. Then when I called see about medication that my insurance denied I was told that doctor would no longer see me and was referring me to a pain doctor. When I was told this I didn’t even have a chance to ask any question I was just hung up on. I am 69 years old and highly upset to be left so suddenly with no help and no explanation of why all of this had to take place.??

I would highly recommend Dr. Kristl My background is in Functional Medicine, so I when I took my son for an appointment, the bar was high. Dr. Kristl did what any good doctor should do, he recommended the safest and surest line of care. He was cautious as to not over prescribe. Furthermore, he was super friendly and explained everything including proper next steps and preventative things to incorporate.

Been patient of Dr Kristl's for quite a few years.Dr K & staff have always treated me w/respect.I've witness what staff put up w/daily w/rudeness/disrespect from patients. They handle it best as a human being could. They alone cannot control insurances, state laws & scarcity of neuros, etc. As patient learned being proactive for yourself, prepare for follow ups, much more is accomplished.Dr K will never cut appt short until everything addressed. Might make your wait longer but worth it.GREAT Dr!!

I have Just started seeing Dr. Kristal for seizures and can't say anything negative about him or his staff. He has been very informative about everything he does and plans for me. He is very polite and takes the time to talk to me about my issues. As for his staff they have be awesome to me and my wife. As a matter of fact I just had a 48 hour EEG test being done on me and his nurse Michelle who hooked me up with the electrodes was so awesome and answered all the questions me and my wife had.

Dr. Kristl takes a lot of time with his patients, answering any & all questions you may have & makes sure you have a full understanding of your condition. Not only is Dr. Kristl very kind & compassionate, he is very knowledgeable in his profession. I have seen many Drs in my lifetime & have had several bad experiences but I would, without hesitation DEFINATELY recommend Dr. Kristl to anyone needing a neurologist!

Kevin Kristl is an absolutely horrible person. If you suffer from any type of migraine (chronic or otherwise), he and his staff will treat you like a criminal and a drug seeker. If you suffer from any type of pain, Kevin Kristl cannot and will not help you.his nursing/support staff are as bad as he is, if not worse (if that's even possible). I have never been to a doctor who cares as little about his patients as Kevin Kristl. He should definitely have his license to practice medicine taken away.
