Chest tube
I was in ICU for Covid, pneumonia, broken rib and collapsed lung. He removed the chest tube for me. He was nice, explained what he was going to do, and was quick when removing the tube…which I was grateful. I liked him very much.

Dr Malone is one of the best in the Med field. He's so very good to his patients. He explains everything he does, and if you do have a question, he goes the extra mile to make sure you understand the situation. To make it short, he's the very best.

Appendectomy
I was in the hospital and Dr. Malone came in to discuss taking my appendix out. He discussed the planned procedure. My surgery went well, and I had no complications whatsoever. Later I had his follow-up appointment which was thorough. I have another procedure which he will do shortly. He did not rush this as he wanted to be sure that my previous surgery was totally healed. I felt very comfortable with Dr. Malone and trusted his opinions and recommendations.

He put a chest tube in for a collapsed lung. First, the incision was jagged whereas the incision left from the first surgery (by a different dr) was a clean, straight line. Second, while in the hospital, he would not come to check progress. After 4 days and the threat of transferring to another hospital, he finally came in. During his brief visit, he found that no progress had been made and realized the bed was on the chest tube causing it not to work. Four days for nothing! And he's rude as wel
