Telehealth
I spent 2 years as a patient of Dr Marsee. Unfortunately, he failed to gather my psychiatric and medical history accurately and was presumptive in his approach. He takes an autocratic approach by disregarding patient perspective and experience, which can feel disempowering and old-fashioned at best. His awareness of current research is limited, and he presents as haughty - unpleasant as this is based on mid-career level experiences within the mental health industry in the US or via VA. I wouldn't recommend him.

Wonderful Psychiatrist
Dr. Marsee is a compassionate and smart psychiatrist who cares and works with his patients. Dr. Marsee has effectively treated my anxiety, and his treatment plan quite literally saved my life. He and Carlos (RN) made sure that all my concerns were addressed quickly and thoroughly. I finally found a psychiatrist that is right for me!

DR Marsee is brilliant, compassionate and caring. And he is a very nice person. I feel at total ease speaking with him. After many many years of therapy. He had a pretty good idea what condition I had upon our first meeting. He was absolutely correct. I was treated for this with my therapist. And again during this covid nightmare we meet again. His immediate action has helped me get back to feeling to feeling myself. And once again during our conversation, he picked up on something I was dealing with and told me what this condition was. Thanks to his keen listening and experience I was sent on for more testing and a medical issue was found. I don’t think it would have been known until something had happened to me. I am amazed how sharp he is. I am deeply grateful .

I used to see Dr. Marsee for help with my ADHD and anxiety and he was a great psychiatrist. I wish he had a private practice as I changed health insurance from Kaiser to Aetna so unfortunately I cannot see him anymore. Dr. Marsee was very nice and always gave me plenty of time to discuss my symptoms and side affects of any medications we had tried. We went through a few and I was able to speak openly and honestly with him throughout.
