I have suffered from depression since I was very little, and eventually it turned into medical conditions associated with depression. Because of those illnesses, some which are chronic (will never go away and be life long), Dr. Moore decided to refuse treatment. He stated that with medical conditions he cannot be sure I have real depression (which I had mentioned several times I had before the illnesses), and that I would have to have none of my medical conditions (again, several are life long, although they are treated to the best possible ability they can be treated) before I could be considered. He mentioned how if people went through TMS and did not show improvement, it could look bad to insurance and may stop being covered... and apparently THAT is more important than someone who desperately needs help with medication and therapy-resistant depression. I cannot stress enough just how disappointed I am that the numbers matter more than the patients.
