He performed a double bunionectomy and was supposed to repair a stress fracture behind the second metatarsal, as soon as the surgery was done I knew something was wrong my foot was as big as a melon. Didn't take time to even talk to my daughter left her sitting in the room for over an hour &he never spoke with her, that was the first sign. Complained for months after the surgery there was something wrong he just kept saying it was a healing process, after a year of nothing I ended up going to another ortho surgeon who had told me my bones dropped & the wrong hardware was used, Had I of let Steffen perform a second surgery & do what he wanted to do & just take all the hardware out I would have not walked or walked right again. So glad I went to the second surgeon and not him. I would not take my worst enemy to this surgeon he does not care about his patients nor does he take time to understand the pain that they are in or listen to them when they say there is something wrong.

Very Disappointing. Went there originally for gout. Got it under control pretty quickly. Went back for Achilles Tennant issues. Told it was probably torn so needed MRI stat & would have to wear tall foot brace. Lady came in to size me and informed her I would need extra wide boot. She replied that this one would be fine. Left office and started to drive home & pain got worse with burning feeling added. Pulled over and took boot off. Pain got better. Went to exchange for the correct size & I was told NO REFUND. But, I could purchase the correct size and put it on my credit card. Asked her do you want me to pay double for your mistake and she said have a nice day. Also still never received call back with MRI results. They are just out to make the money at the patients expense. Stay clear of this place!

Dr Steffen is very thorough. He takes the time and has the knowledge to help you feel better. His staff and whole office are kind and compassionate. I feel like our community is very luck to have him

Great experience! I didn’t have to wait very long before they took me back to do my x-rays and only had to wait a few minutes after this to see the doctor. Dr. Steffen listened to my concerns carefully and discussed options with me to take care of my issue. Taking care of my feet is super important to me because I’m on them at work all day. I’m very grateful that we have Dr. Steffen here!

I thought I had a bad sprained ankle but decided to make an appointment to be sure. The office was able to work me in even though I was not already a patient. Staff was compassionate and helpful took exray and it was broken. Dr Steffen was wonderful explaining the break and the treatment he recommended. Very happy with the entire experience. Dr. Steffen took the time with me and didn't rush answered my questions as well. Wonderful experience.

Really good doctor. He actually sits down and looks at your feet unlike some other podiatrists we have seen. Will go back.

I just want to add to mine. My doctor wanted me to go to an orthopedic surgeon for a second opinion and I went to a very well known one. He checked out my ankle and said what Dr. Steffen wanted to do was the right thing and he is the best around to do it.

I went to him for a specific pain in my right foot. He didn't focus on that pain, but rather an old injury of a broken toe. He wanted to do surgery...I declined. Just as the visit was over, he told me I could tape the toes if they ever hurt. He snipped a small piece of athletic tape and put it on my toes. For this 30 sec. event...he charged me $314.00. He didn't tell me this cost was above the regular visit. I tried to talk to him about the charge and he refused to see me.
