Dr. Khader Abounasr, MD

We ordered a sleep study which took 4 months to get. Then after carefully performing the study we brought the test equipment back and asked about when we might expect the results. The reply was ‘well let you know’. Every person we met was just doing a job. They didn’t care. I’ve been to City of Hope and seen real professionals that really like what they do. Dr Abounasr either doesn’t know how to select staff or doesn’t himself care. It’s been over 4 weeks and we’ve heard crickets. It doesn’t take that long to process results and that fact alone tells me that they are content to let patients suffer in misery while there is no sense of urgency or caring in that office. Use this physician at your own risk.

It's difficult to schedule appointments long time and no response to ur call employees bad rood and attitude and not helping at all don't go to this office it's a waist of time and afford

I was taken over by Dr. Abounasr after the death of my Sleep Doctor and we are at the stage of getting the approval of my insurance for my medication. Dr. Abounasr and her staff patiently and efficiently work with the Centralized Pharmacy and my Health Insurance. I finally got the approval of my insurance and will receive the medication today. Thank you Dr. Abounasr, Joana, Janae and Marlene. Thank you Sheila for submitting my disability form instead of me picking it up. I was able to save money for Uber! Thank you Matthew for being nice when we did the MLST! Thank you Teresa for placing the orders for my CPAP machine and my other needs. I would like to commend Dr. Abounasr and the staff for giving excellent service every time I go to the Sleep Center or if I need something from them. They are really efficient, nice and respectful. I would say they are the best medical staff that I've seen so far. I've seen a lot.

I'm sure this doctor would be great... if I could get an appointment with him. I've called multiple times over the past three months, and was told "call back next month, we don't know his schedule for next year yet and the rest of this year is all booked up." Today I called again, twice. The first time I was on hold for five minutes before a machine told me that the number was unavailable. The second time I called the exact same number, and I was on hold for over *half an hour* before I gave up and called my primary care to refer me to someone else. Looks like I'm not the only one who has had problems with the office staff refusing to answer the phone. I'm normally not the sort who leaves negative reviews or complains very often, but I had to make an exception in this case.

Very disappointed with office staff. Don't answer phones. Make promises on appointments that cannot keep. They don't seem very professional or knowledgeable.

AMAZING Doctor! He was very kind and personable. He took the time and answered all our questions. I really appreciate how much he truly cared about me and my family. I would recommend him to anyone. Great staff too.
