Dr. Mustafa is a wealth of good health issues information, and he is kind and he shows concern for all of my health issues and my overall well being. His nurse Kim is incredibly attentive, and kind to me and listens to what I have to say. She is very relatable and I appreciate them both!

Let me start by saying he has the absolute BEST nurses front staff! I’ve been going to him for 2-3 years and hoped we would find a groove. Mostly because of his nurses honestly. Every time i am seen he is very short with me. I try to talk about what is going on and it’s met with things such as exercise. What I’m discussing has nothing to do with exercise. This past visit he actually walked out of the room as i was talking and told me he would see me in 6 months. My day to day life is affected. I have severe low B12 which he was supposed to order shots for twice now but still has not done. I will be looking for a new provider and would recommend you not waste your time.

I was transferred to Dr. Mustafa after my provider left the office. During my first appointment, Dr. Mustafa talked over me, wouldn't let me answer questions, and rushed me through. He determined, after looking at 6 years of effective treatment and testing, that my numbers were not high enough to have RA and then said he wanted to remove me from all medications I had been taking. He was incredibly dismissive and uncooperative. I would not recommend anyone see him.

Dr. Mustafa, without telling me at the visit, prescribed me an antidepressant that causes heart issues and interacts badly with birth control for my fibromyalgia, knowing that I have POTS and family history of heart problems and having that I take birth control on my chart. He did not look at my chart. He asked about my testicles and I had to clarify that I am FTM and do not have those, which prompted him to ask multiple unrelated questions about any trans-related surgeries I had or hormones I took. He then misgendered me in his after-visit notes despite having gendered me properly before I clarified. He did not seem to care or want to be there and consistently interrupted me when I was talking about what symptoms I experienced, even in response to his questions. He refused to repeat himself multiple times. I would recommend avoiding him, as he has given me some of the worst care in a 30 minute visit that I've ever experienced.

I give him a poor rating. He was ok the first couple of times I saw him. He seemed to want to talk about politics more than my health. The last time I saw him, it seemed like he couldn’t wait for me to leave, even dismissing me in a rude way. The only thing he wanted to talk about was meds. I don’t have the time or money to waste on this type of doctor!

Dr. Mustafa is one of better physicians I have ever been to, he is knowledgeable and experienced, I have been to many doctors before but he was able to diagnosed my medical problem. He cares about patients and knows what works and what doesn't! One time I missed my appointment came very late, he was able to see me the same day, this tells you about his work ethics a lot!

Excellent listener, takes his time, treats you like a real person and not just the next number on his list to get through as fast as possible. A doctor who actually seems to like his job and people. I was quite surprised.
