Very shady practice on billing. I had an ear infection and the doctor performed a nasal endoscopy on me without informing me that it was going to cost 200$. The octoscope examination was 14$ in contrast. I'm on a HSA plan and that amount was going to be out of my pocket. I would not be seeing the doctor who uses such dishonest practices in the future.

Dr. Makki is ok; however, the office and billing staff are condescending and unprofessional.  They (over) charge you at point of service even if you are on a coinsurance plan, and then refuse to send an invoice/bill so you're able to verify what you actually owe.  The billing lady, Sharon, said sending an invoice and/or a refund of the over paid amount was "too much work" for them.  Balance billing is a form of medical billing fraud and this office is very well versed at this act.  They clearly are hoping that patients don't understand their medical insurance so that they will get away with this practice.  Coinsurance insurance is always billed to the patient after the insurance pays; however, Dr. Makki's office charges an arbitrary $ amount at point of service even though the appointment may be less than $.  In the event, the appointment is less, they hold onto the overpaid amount and refuse to send you a refund hoping that you will return to the office and pay them more money.

I have been a patient for over 10 years. He and was able to surgically resolve a condition that multiple physicians were unable to address. Since he has managed my allergies without time consuming allergy shots.

Dr. Makki was poor. He made a number of assumptions about me - as a young black woman - before he even began my exam. Not only did he imply that my recurring tonsillitis MUST be the result of an underlying condition without asking me about my history, he went on to refer me to a female doctor, who is also a woman of color. He told me not to come back! Who turns away a patient that has been plagued by the SAME issue for years? Avoid him if you are a woman of color. There's better care elsewhere.

Dr. Makki is an excellent physician (and I have several with which to compare). He keeps up with research not only in his area of expertise but in those from which I suffer (namely, MS). So, when I have an appointment, he is concerned not only about my ENT, but he discusses with me symptoms and challenges I may experience as a result of my other diseases. I NEVER wait over 15 minutes of my scheduled appointment time! His office is clean and bright. Highly recommended, unconditional.
