Stay well Nikkhou’s office and staff.
His office is a walking disaster. They don’t return calls or provide patient records to other doctors. They don’t follow up or return messages. This place needs to be closed down. Nikkou himself appears to be a competent doctor but there are far better options. Beware of the mental anguish this firm will put you and your loved ones through.

Not a good experience
I don't know if Dr. Nikkhou was just having a bad day, but this is my experience with him and I sent a copy of this letter to him and he never responded.Dr. NikkhouIt gives me no pleasure to write this letter to you criticizing the standard of care you provided me, which I believe you and your professional contemporaries would agree was woefully substandard to the point that it presented a serious risk to my health. Here are some key areas of that failure followed by a narrative of events.1. Failure to prescribe an antibiotic before and after the Cystoscopy to prevent a UTI; this is a medical standard followed by others. This failure resulted in my contracting a UTI and having to present to UCLA Immediate care for diagnosis, treatment and the antibiotic.2. Failure to drain my very over filled over extended bladder even though you noted it was endangering my kidney’s because the urine was backing up into them and causing them to swell up. You even mentioned that if not done

Perfect doctor
I could not be more thankful to Dr. Nikkhou for the help he provided to my son. He was so kind patiently answering all my questions and addressing my concerns. You can see REAL healing doctor when you talk to Dr. Nikkhou. I do know this for sure because I had a chance to compare with others… Thank you again!

I've been a patient of Dr. Nikkhou for a couple years and I feel very comfortable with his diagnosis and recommendations. He patiently hear all my questions and explain very clear my condition and recommended procedures and treatment. Last visit was close to an emergency due to an elevated PSA test and worrisome symptoms, and the ladies from the front office were able to get me an appointment in a couple days. They were very helpful and handle all of the test and paperwork efficiently.

Nobody answers the phone no matter what you choose in the menu. Takes on average a week to return calls, emails, or messages on the patient portal website, even when urgent — if at all. Last time I was there a man came in to make an appointment, complaining loudly that he had been trying to do so on the phone and Internet for weeks without any responses. Doc often says to “expect a call tonight to schedule a follow up,” but every time I’m back like that man days later. Does not read medical histories when provided or order diagnostic imaging as needed before jumping to diagnosis (which for me was not often correct, and typically lead to further complications needing more advanced treatment after being hastily subjected to failed or incorrect procedures). Then if concerns are expressed in the office, he is always in a hurry, only glancing quickly from the door without examining. Twice he told me he was ordering my meds “right now”, and I drove to the pharmacy to find he never did.

Very compassionate! Will do his best to fit you in to his schedule if it's an emergency. He's a hard working doctor who makes rounds around 7:30 and again in the evening.

I am rating Dr. Nikkhou very low for 3 reasons: 1) Poor Medicine Recommendations: I told him the 1st meds he prescribed me didn't work. He prescribed me a different med that didn't work either. I had to find someone else to get the right meds. 2) Lack of Sharing Important Med Details: I actually ended up almost hurting myself permanently because of the important instructions he failed to warn me about when he first prescribed my meds. 3) Not Returning Phone Calls: Nikkhou ignored my urgent

We're actually from Porter Ranch and I decided to have my mother-in-law see Dr. Nikkhou. At first, receptionist said my mother-in-laws insurance will not cover for this office visit...But, I told her we drove 30minutes for you to til us no. But, Dr. said he would work with us and took us in.. I recommend this Urologist .Very polite, explained image results--and very professional with A+bedside manners. Shows compassion and respect.
