This doctor really is a piece of work. I came in for a concussion and when he examined me, it was super rushed and careless. He made it seem as if it wasn't serious and that he had better things to do. He was very dismissive of the symptoms I addressed to him and was quite rude. After my visit, I went to a different ER and was treated completely different. All of my questions and concerns about my concussion were met with professionalism. I personally, would not recommend "Doctor" Urata as a provider.

Very kind and personable provider, I’d recommend him to others. Took the time to listen, examine, and told me what was going on. Really sweet and understanding!

I hurt my knee. I can’t straighten it or bear weight. I hobble with knee bent. He did not do a through exam. Did not check for neural deficits. He streeted me without an ace bandage. The nurse kindly gave me one. My MRI. Partial to mid tear ACL, tear of lateralis retineculum into the IT band and a tear in the vestis laterus. Two torn muscles, a tear in a tendon and a tear in my ACL. This dude is a danger. A different Dr reviewed my chart and said at the very least. I should have been put in a leg brace. If you get this dude. Refuse his care. Ask for another Dr.

One of the worst docs I’ve ever had. From out of town, fell and hit my face on ground. Cut to inside and outside of lower lip. Cab driver said this was better ER. I wasn’t impressed. Dr Urata was in and out of my room multiple times like he had somewhere better to be. He never did a physical exam on me. Never checked to see if my teeth were loose. Didn’t check out my jaw or neck. He never cleaned my cut. He tried to glue it. Then he put on stitch on the outside and one on the inside. By the time I got back to the hotel the stitch on the inside had come out already. By the next morning part of the glue on the outer cut had peeled off. I also had tenderness and bruising on my left hand/ thumb. They xrayed it and he told me I had a small fracture but it wouldn’t need surgery. Then as I was leaving he said the fracture was read near my pinky finger so he didn’t know if it was read right. I don’t know as I’m writing this if it’s broken or not. No bedside manner. He’s horrible!
