Clear and Compassionate Communication
I had a great experience With Dr. Lipscomb when I unexpectedly faced placental abruption and pre-eclampsia and needed to give birth early. Dr. Lipscomb was kind, caring and clearly communicated my options. She was amazing and I’m grateful for her care.

We were recommended for invasive and expensive testing based on a shadow on an ultrasound that could not be replicated. None of the testing was explained to us. We were told we would be getting calls to schedule the testing and given brochures describing the procedures. We were sent for a fetal echocardiogram at choa after being told we might have a heart defect. Our questions were not answered not this provider. we felt confused and rushed through our appointment. No heart defect was found by the cardiologist at choa. This provider acted as if we were wasting her time. The scheduling for the fetal echocardiogram was handled by this office. Initially they scheduled the mother for a cardiogram, then rescheduled for a date I was unavailable, and then finally got it right. When we received the bill for this visit, we discovered we had been charged for two ultrasounds. This one visit amounted to 1200 dollars out of pocket even with insurance.
