Dr. Kimberly Franke, MD

I went to her in the fall of 2022 to help with my arthritis in both of my knees. She gave me steroid injections for both knees in September of 2022. But the pain was still terrible and she suggested I get an injection that wasn’t a steroid, but was still supposed to help with the pain. The pain was terrible when she injected my right knee and within 24 hours my entire right leg was so swollen and I was in so much pain that I went to the emergency room. She came in to check on me and said it was just a reaction to the injection and that it should go away. I asked for an MRI and she agreed to it, but didn’t order a dye to see any infection. It was almost a week before a correct diagnosis of me having septic arthritis after I kept going to the ER asking for help and being sent away. I was ambulanced to the U of U where I received emergency surgery on my knee. I had a pick inserted in me that I had to inject antibiotics into my heart for a month. It was the worst thing I ever had happen.

Great!!!! Bedside manner is fantastic. She really seems to care about me. Six years in terrible hip pain and now I am pain free. She has given me a new life!

She is a wonderful Dr. She did my knee surgery, ACL surgery. Her bedside manner is amazing and she listens to her patient’s. She is a excellent Dr and would highly recommend her
