“You are an unnecessary patient”, were Dr. Hamilton’s words to me. UNBELIEVABLE! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I have been a trauma nurse for twenty years and I was flummoxed!??

She didn't believe my husband's low red blood cell counts, could be related to an anemia even though when she took him off of his supplemental iron, she was told this had not worked in the past. I pushed for more information why she believed this was not iron anemia, which she provided, but finally ordered an iron level. This iron level showed a very low iron count .This took 3 mths. Staff ordering iron, did not consult his record and were ordering an ineffective drug and needed corrected.

She cancelled two of my appointment after I got out of the hospital. Then we made an agreement oh how she would treat my medical condition and then recended the agreement with out notice or explanation
