No. I went for an endoscopy to deal with maybe a cautionary procedure. What brought me to office had nothing to do with what the procedure she “surprised” me with. She did an esophagus dilation and I am furious. I never complained of problems swallowing!!! That is not what I went there for. That was not what the office visit was for. Why “extra procedures” . The way I figured this out is when my husband paid the bill. Never went there for esophagus dilation.

My first appointment was scheduled 3 months out. Then after being canceled due to power outage was told they would call but never did I called and it was another 4 months to see her. She did a great job asking questions and then ordered test to be done. The day of the test I felt like cattle being put through a process. Just before leaving she did a consultation she seemed rushed and didn’t seem to want to be there. Overall, she had no information and no useful advice to help me out.

Dr. Harmon is helping me with a difficult GI issue. She is creative, tenacious and very kind. She is an excellent listener with a great sense of humor. She works very well with the other doctors on my team. She is very respectful of me as a patient. She is giving me hope!

Im only leaving a 5 star review bc they dont allow me to leave 10. Doc Harmon and Michelle are fabulous to work with. They respond to calls and emails very quick. Are both personalble and friendly and they genuinely want you feel better. If i could change just one thing, id make this my primary care team. Theyve done multiple procedures and always treated me well.

It seems that the office/ nurses are very slow to answer your question throu MGI portal. Slow to answer your questions on the phone. Really like Dr Harmon but staff need a lesson on listening to patients

After suffering for 20 years with an issue no doctor in town could figure out - Dr. Harmon did! I liked her immediately. She sat with me like she had all the time in the world to figure out my issue. She took notes, asked questions and educated me. I had my gal bladder out last year, and after hurting consistently for 20 years - I am now 13 months pain free!

Dr. Harmon spends as much time with you as you need. She is very thorough and explains everything to you. She has a nice sense of humor and can tell you what is wrong with you without frightening you. She is the best GI specialist I have seen since the beginning of my GI problems in 1994, in three different states.

It was very clear that Dr. Harmon never wanted to actually listen to me as a patient (only ever spent several minutes in the room with me) and was constantly on the verge of malpractice. Turns out (after I sought a second opinion from one of the top gastroenterology hospitals in the country) that she ordered tests and scopes that were unnecessary and inappropriate for my complaints and age. It took an ALLERGIST to recommend the correct test!

terrible doctor. Never spent any time with me actually asking me what my problems were. Ordered 2 very expensive tests that were not needed and potentially could have ad complications. The results came back fine for her to tell me that I just needed to learn to live with my problem. I went to another doctor that too a stool sample (a very inexpensive test) and found out that I had e-coli. Treated me and that was it. I would never recommend this doctor

Dr Harmon was very nice to visit with, but, she did not report the results of my Bravo correctly to me. She apparently did not want me to know that the capsule fell off quickly. I had to call her office repeatedly to finally get my results. I also had several issues with Bergan, like estimating the cost way under the real cost and giving me another person report, therefore I would not recommend her, or CHI Bergan, or the Bravo procedure to anyone.
