Very knowledgeable, caring, encouraging
We discussed results of lab work just completed; discussed recent diabetes symptoms; Dr checked on the status of renewals of 4 Rx medications she has prescribed for me; she examined my feet (both for any swelling & for an infection of one of my ankles). We discussed details of next 2 appointments. As always, Dr La Mack & I had a good exchange of information & concerns.

My husband was left in the exam room at the end of the day after being told she was running a little late. Disgraceful patient care.

Great Endocrinologist
Dr. LaMack has been great for me. She was so informative when I first went to her with concerns about my thyroid and ultimately diagnosed Graves disease. She has treated me very well through the years, she's very responsive on MyChart if you have any questions, and is very caring and nice. I'm happy to have found her and will recommend her to anyone with endocrinology issues.

Dr. LaMack was great in the beginning, I've been with her for over 10+ yrs. In the last three years, she has been very dismissive of symptoms and will not listen to you. She lumps all patients in a cookie-cutter way and does not separate into individuals based on lab work and symptoms reported. She will not allow a patient to be on the high end of normal values, because "she doesn't like having patients on the high end." Her LPN is the one who contacts you and everything is relayed through her, which tends to cause miscommunication. If you report missing ANY dose of medication, even one day, as most humans might due once in a while, Dr. LaMack accuses you and writes in your medical record she suspects you're intentionally missing dosages, simply because your bloodwork shows low levels even though you reported NOT missing any dosages. She will not increase your dosage no matter what, only because of her false suspicions. If you challenge her or tell her or her staff this is incorrect information, they will send you a letter dismissing you as a patient due to behavior and being uncooperative. Be aware of everything you say during a visit, as it is misconstrued and misreported to fit her narrative.

Dr. LaMack is so kind and helpful. She is an excellent listener and works diligently to problem solve with you, providing her expertise but weighing in on your thoughts and feedback contemporaneously. I've worked with her for over a decade and would highly recommend her.

Oh my Gosh, where do I start. Dr. Lamack is the best endocrinologist out there. When I had secondary adrenal insuffiency, other endo's told me I may likely have to take steriods for life, but she was positive and patient and with her care she healed my adrenal glands and now that condition is gone and just a bad memory for me. Even when I stopped being an official patient but needed advice for this or that, she was there for me, going out of her way to be helpful . Then when my treatment of my hashimotos by another Dr. was to strong, she took her off time, after hours time to help me, without pay . This is unheard of for most Dr's. She is the only endocrinologist I trust and I am very picky with my Dr's. I am so blessed to have met her when I did. She is the combo of smarts and true caring , everyone is looking for in their doctors.
