I highly recommend Dr. Larsen. I have been looking for a primary care doctor after dealing with a doctor that went to "concierge" service - where you have to pay a yearly fee just to be a patient. I have been taking my 89-year-old mother to see Dr. Larsen at my sister's recommendation and like her so much I have decided to start seeing her. She takes her time, listens, and has reasonable recommendations. We drive almost a half hour to get to the office but it's well worth it.

I have been seeing Dr. Larsen for 15 years, between two practices now. I have the utmost respect for Dr. Larsen and currently drive from Bethesda to Edgewater to see her. She has always been very sweet and caring towards myself and my entire family. She has worked hard to ensure I am seeing the best specialists for my thyroid disorder, and I could not be more pleased with her advice. She is honest and always ensures I understand my test results and options for how to deal with my symptoms.

Blames everything on weight & she is bigger herself since she lost weight she loves to put weight as the issue I UNDERSTAND I am bigger and need to lose weight she doesn't even try to tell you in a nice way. Extremely rude so glad I found a new PCP many other people have this same problem with her even some that are not as big as me. She does not spend time explaining or even caring. Very cold shoulder.

In my opinion: Acts like she is the boss and you better do it her way, Sent me a certified letter after one visit to tell me I was not following her rules. I have a Cognitive disease and do not always get things the first time. The first exam/meeting was sitting in a chair next to her nurse; never saw an exam room. . I am in my 60's recovering from a heart attack in March and this is how she treats me! Very Unfriendly. Does not respect the patient.
