Dr. Kimberly Viskocil, MD

Dr. Viskocil performed two procedures on me on the same day, and it was a perfect experience. I know it sounds crazy that a colonoscopy and upper endoscopy could be anything but miserable, but they went really well. Dr. Viskocil and her staff are very professional and skilled. I have learned a lot about my condition from her, and how to better manage it. Bedside manner is excellent.

Dr has been very helpful in trying to help me get back into a healthy state and in controlling my EOE and Gerd. Her diagnosis and treatment helped control my condition so my duodenum could heal. A previous gastro Dr I saw missed all the issues and instead tested me for lupus and then told me I should see a Dr. Visckocil seems very competent and I find her staff very friendly. I am grateful that she was able to figure out what was going on and now I'm able to drink water and eat food again.

She didn’t seem to take my pain seriously. Told me to exercise more and eat healthier. Pretty hard to do that when you are in constant pain! I Did not feel listened to.

Didn't listen to me and interrupted me as she told me to drink a fruit-flavored protein drink. I was trying to tell her that I was allergic to dairy. She insisted that the protein drink she recommended didn't have dairy, it was made of fruit. Well...the drink contained whey, which is dairy, duh. My visit was a complete waste of time.

Dr. Viskocil is very patient and willing to take as long as it takes to discuss everything you need to talk about. She comes to the appointment prepared and has been through your records and has a good idea of what is going on before you talk to her. Very kind and great at explaining things. Makes sure she listens to you and is willing to try whatever she can to help. One of the best doctors I've had.

Dr. Viskocil is very thorough in her workups and followups. She takes time to make sure that she understands what your symptoms, concerns and questions are. She did not hesitate to do additional testing if needed but at the same time was ok with taking a conservative approach as long both she and I were comfortable with it. It is important for me to feel like I have input in the treatment plan and that was definitely the case with Dr. Viskocil. She is an excellent provider.
