Dr. Kioumars Mostafizi, MD

I have been a patient for several years. I was discovered to have bicuspid aortic valve, and he had been watching it for a while. He told me it was time for replacement, and he called it right down the line.I went in September and had the valve replaced at TMC by George Makdisi, who is also an amazing Doctor.I am now six months out of the hospital and feeling better then I can remember. I literally feel like I am in my 20’s again.I am thankful to have him and his team as my Dr. I would highly recommend him. Literally saved my life.Thank you.

My personal experience has been horrible. I only met the man once. When I was in the hospital full of drugs. Not one person that I have talked to on the phone knows what anyone else is doing. I have had appointments for telehealth visits. And I've been told that mister Mostafizi doesn't do telehealth visits. Even though it clearly states that he does on the internet. I was told to speak with the financial department about my bill at the reception desk, when my payment wasn't even close to being overdue. I was told that I had to make a face to face appointment to get the results of my PET scan. I got the results today from my PCP. And I didn't have to pay a specialists copay. I'm thinking that with Mr. Mostafizi, its all about the money $$$ first. I filed a complaint against him today. Food for thought; Intelligent people usually surround themselves with other intelligent people. Mr. Mostafizi is surrounded by people that can't even communicate with each other. ???

I was seen quickly and found the doctor to be very thorough. He answered all questions and I found him to be very caring.

I had AFIB he saved my life 2018-19 I need him again March 2021

Just regular routine check up

Excellent cardiologist. Dr. Mostafizi literally saved my mother’s life when she was hospitalized and found to be in heart failure. Dr. Mostafizi found the left side of her heart to be functioning at only 35%. Within a month of being under his care, her heart regained 95% of its function. In our experience, he is a very kind man who explains conditions thoroughly and treats patients and family members with respect, warmth, and compassion. We experienced nothing short of excellent bedside manner and professionalism.

I think that my appointment was the fastest and best doctor appointment I’ve ever had.

I saw the Drs NP as the Dr was called away for an emergency and was quite impressed and felt well taken care of. She was attentive and concerned for my health.

Extremely RUDE! No bedside manner, office staff not organized. Consider someone that understands compassion and kindness. Never took out a stethoscope for an exam! Really you are a cardiologist!

Walked in with a referral form from my pcp in hand and was able to be fit into the schedule that day. Really relieved my mind to get EKG and stress test done asap... and have echo' scheduled for the very next day! Front desk staff great, as were the assistants and technicians!
