Dr. Kirk Jensen, MD

Dr. Jensen is hands down the best shoulder surgeon. He listens and I never felt rushed. I had some calcium buildup and a tear in my rotator cuff with a ton of arthritis. He is knowledgeable and I trust his opinions and care. Thank you Dr. J!

Very supportive and helpful office staff Yes, he is always booked out, but that’s because he always recommended so highly by other doctors , patients , physical therapist …. And yes there is often a wait to see him , there is only one of him and lots of patients to see He is a very conservative , thorough doctor and surgeon .he has always explained things well and guided me well in my options . 2 rotator cuff surgeries later , and still feel that I am in the best hands that I can find.

Dr Jensen is a wonderful, super orthopedic surgeon, it's his office staff that are HORRIBLE. If you are still working and must submit paperwork to your employer, find another doctor. His office staff cannot submit paperwork on time to save your job! Even with seriously gentle reminders and help via printing out and handing said paperwork to receptionist, my paperwork was oftentimes 4-5 days late prompting threatening emails and prompts from HR at the hospital I work at, that if I don't get my paperwork in on time I may loose my job! Pretty stressful situation when your trying to recover from multiple surgeries. Sadly I will not be using this fine surgeon again because of his incompetent office staff.

Dr Jensen has treated two orthopedic issues of mine. He performed rotator cuff surgery and then a year later repaired a fully impacted fracture of the humerus on the same arm. He is extremely knowledgeable and explains the injury, repair and needed rehab well. He is conservative in his approach - not rushing you into rehab too soon. I highly recommend him as the best in the area for shoulder/arm injuries and problems.
