I have been seeing Dr. Melville for seven years. I have multiple chronic illnesses and Dr. Melville is the first and only male doctor who has never once doubted what I am telling him is happening with my body. He consistently goes the extra mile to make sure that I am receiving good care from specialists he has referred me to, and when I am acutely ill, he calls me periodically to check on me. After seeing dozens of doctors in my lifetime, I would not trade him as my PCP for anyone.

I have been a patient of Dr. Melville's for a long time. I used to work with him in another setting, which was high volume and stressful . He is highly knowledgeable, compassionate and gentle. His staff are polite and helpful. I hope to be a patient for many years to come.

Dr. Melville has helped me a lot. He spends a lot of time with his patients and digs deep to find the cause of an illness and doesn’t just throw pills at his patients like a lot of other doctors!

Excellent! He is more knowledgeable with Thyroid conditions, etc. He is willing to take the time to listen and then recommend more tests to get a better view of what is happening. He look at the cause, instead of medicating the symptoms. I called one day at lunch time . He actually answered the phone and was willing to listen to me. I left my other primary care physician of 25 years because they did not really care about my blood work and symptoms. I am recommending him to all my friends!

This is how archaic this doctor is. He owes me a credit of $57. He overcharged me on my credit card. Because he makes assumptions on insurance and won't take what I know to be accurate information. But he won't put it back on my credit card. Because of the fees involved in doing so. He also won't mail it to me. Because he says it's it could get lost. And then he's hit with a cancelled check charge. So what does he do? He makes me drive all the way out to Watkinsville to pick up a check.

I was reaching out to Doctors in the local area and wanted to start a relationship with a local Dr. After being on a waiting list for over a month I got a call from their office and they stated that I would need to pay upfront $227 for a consultation. My insurance covers three visits a year with BCBS HMO. I stated that my copay was $40 for those visits. The secretary stated that it was not covered. Filed complaint with BCBS and they stated that it is covered. Would not recommend. Would give 0
