Daytona office. My dad had to get retina exam, he did. He was called about 5 times saying he didn't get retina exam. He had delivered. Still got calls they didn't get retina exam. They call day before surgery on Friday and say you didn't get retina exam. He gets there and ride left to do errands and they tell him they will not do his surgery because his ride left. They didn't tell him they had to wait there the whole time. It has been a nightmare dealing with the office. Good luck!

The entire staff at both the Daytona and Lake Mary locations were friendly and helpful. My vision has improved to where I no longer need glasses for distance and I have worn glasses since I was 2. Thank you all at these locations.

As always the staff is professional, empathetic and genuinely pleasant. The scheduling is prompt as well as the wait times. If there is a delay a staff member always informs me. I will always remain a patient of Dr. Filutowski. He has a wonderful bedside manner. Very easy to talk to and ask questions. He explains everything during the exam so patients can understand. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my eyes.

I was legally blind when I came to Dr. Filutowski; he gave me my sight back after removing a very dense cataract. At age 53 I can now put away the magnifying glass!! Surgery was a breeze and the ENTIRE staff was amazing both at the surgery center and at his office! I will be forever grateful to Dr. Filutowski.

I went on a return cataract surgery follow up (6 Months) and will be having a touch up surgery in a few weeks. I would not trust my vision to anyone but Dr. Filutowski and Associates.

I recently had both eyes operated on for lens replacement in the Daytona office (50 days for both eyes) I had no issues and no surprises. My standard mono replacement (Covered by Medicare) has resulted in 20/15 distance acuity and glasses for reading. I am pleased.
My wife had the same procedure done by a different MD in a local hospital and it was a nightmare.
My surgery was a cake walk compared to what she went through.
After all preliminary tests I was in and out in 2 hours for each eye.

I am 77 years old and had standard cataract surgery on both eyes they implanted a mono focal lens on each eye . I had been wearing glasses since I was 12. Now I only need glasses when I drive during the night and for reading small letters.

From beginning to end there is nothing but comfort and efficiency. .The environment makes waiting between getting drops and testing a much more pleasant experience. Reception staff are pleasant and the many technicians who carry out the testing before you see Dr Filutowski for your surgery are amazing. Dr Filutowski does all the surgeries and explains everything and answers all questions. Brilliant doctor. It’s normal to wait for 20 minutes between some tests due to dilating drops taking effect.

All of Dr. Filutowski's assistants with whom I had contact were very polite and conducted themselves in a professional manner. Dr Filutowski seem to be genuinely interested in my welfare and took the time to explain the low risks associated with the surgery, and what to expect after the surgery. He answered all of my questions related to the surgery.

Doctor Filutowski was fine... When I finally got to see him. However, there was a two (2) hour waiting room time beyond my scheduled time. No sense of schedule within the office. I was told this is NORMAL ! I asked why... if normal, they don't schedule properly ?? No answer, they don't care about your wasted time.

i would never recommend this eye doctor to anyone. He twice knocked my legs from being crossed instead of asking me to uncross them. He silenced my husband and I twice when we attempted to ask questions regarding my surgery. He yelled at me twice when I could not maintain an wide open eye due to the sever light he was shining in my eye. I found him to be an arrogant narcissist and would never pay him one more dime nor let him perform surgery on me or my dog. Beside manor rates a huge 0!
