We went to CBCC when my husband was diagnosed with testicular cancer. At first i was pleased, after the 1st visit that was no more. He didnt communicate with us, didnt inform us of anything other than do surgery or die. Test I now know should have been done weren't. He was very unprofessional and lacked compassion on so many level. Later the hospital said theres nothing else to do, dr. Shekar and other dr. is going to say they can save you dont believe it.. Just go home be comfortale. It happened exactly how i was told. My husband wanted to fight so he did it thinking chemo and surgery would help. Just to be told by dr shekar he will die its to far. I was never even told they didnt specialise in TC. Knowing my husband was no gonna live he wanted as much money as possible before and he got it. Please find a specialist for the cancer you are fighting. Do your research..

Dr Shekar is a remarkable physician. He is impeccable bedside manner and takes the time to listen to the patient. It seems his first priority is the comfort of the patient. I would highly recommend.

Wonderful doctor, was a rock for me during my most difficult time...cannot over-express what a great job he did. Unfortunately, he has left this area and the CBCC office in Templeton is closed, leaving no oncologists in north San Luis Obispo county.
