Dr. Koulin Chou, MD

I did not see Dr. Chou--never was seen by Doctor. I was seen by the PA. When I received the bill from the office and my insurance I was billed as if I was seen by a medical doctor.

I went to Dr Chou, I had spots on the bottom of my right leg which looked like spots from like an old rash and a dark waffle shaped dark marks, on the back of my leg she took a photo and looked it up on Google, and said nothing could be done and referred me to someone else for more details. Dr Chou is a very nice person but I wasn’t pleased with the Google University findings I could have googled what I thought was wrong. I’m still seeking help. It would have been most helpful if she could have made a curtesy call to the more experienced dermatologist and gotten back to me later.

Dr. Chou & assistants work harmoniously to care for you. I’ve been going to her for about 30 years. Her Annual body checks, removal of suspect freckles, etc are helping to keep my skin healthy. Thanks to Dr. Chou’s attention to details, her procedures & treatments to remove pre-cancerous spots, along with her regiments & current sun protection information - her diligence & commitment to her profession & patients along with her positive, soft-spoken manner always put me at easy.

I have been a patient of Dr Chou for 26 years. She is intelligent, caring, and has good bedside manner. I highly recommend her.

My experience with Dr. Chou has always been very positive. What I like is that she is very thorough. There is a history of melanoma in my family. Dr. Chou is aware of that and she is always sure to check me thoroughly for any possible problems with skin cancer, etc. She is very focused and sincere and seems very, very caring. Very, very positive is the only way for me to describe my experience with Dr. Chou.

Dr Chou is one of the best dermatologists who actually cares about her patients health and not just mere cosmetics. She has a profound and holistic way of treating her patients. Highly recommended!

Absolutely the worst run office I have ever been to. No one could help with an insurance issue. This went on for weeks. Then I was text an appointment reminder only to call The office and informed I was not on the schedule. This is a very old school operation in my view. I don’t trust anyone there anymore including the Dr.

If any person, including physicians, could save just one life in their life or career, I would say this person deserves more than a five-star rating. Dr. Koulin Chou saved my life. I went to see her for a wart on my hand. She treated it meticulously, and then told me that she did not like a dark spot on my left shoulder. As I was going to ignor it since that spot did not bother me, Dr. Chou insisted to have it removed immediately. The pathology showed it was Melanoma in an early stage!

I had my first visit with Dr. Chou and had a great experience. Everyone at the office was very nice. Dr. Chou was very patient and accommodating. She was also very thorough. I felt really good when I left the office.

I was treated in a very demeaning & disrespectful way. Would not answer a question about a lesion on the back of my calf which I was unable to see. This was finally answered by her assistant. She also did not address a lesion on my face that I expressed concern about. I was so upset that I forgot to ask her about the lesion before she left the room. Her assistant explained that it was cosmetic. I saw another Dermatologist who said not cosmetic actinic keratosis & removed it.
