Dr. Krisczar Bungay, MD

I ran into a serious health problem. When meeting with Dr. Bungay, he completely misadvised me causing me further harm. I had to leave and go to another doctor. The worst part is when I discussed this with Bungay he became agitated and would not even have a conversation. Never would I go back to this kind of doctor.

I've been a patient of Dr. Bungay for 16 years and am very happy with him. Communication with him does have a New York efficiency to it, so don't expect a long, drawn-out dialogue, but every time I've gone to him with a problem, he's been quick to address it, and when we needed to try multiple approaches to treatment he was tenacious and creative. He also responds quickly to email, especially when I've needed an urgent prescription. It can be difficult to get the front office staff on the phone, but requests submitted to their online portal are always handled same day.

I have been a patient here for 3 years. Dr. Bungay himself is a good Doctor, He explains thing well and listens well. Appointments can seem rush, and since I am young and relatively healthy, I didn't think any of my yearly well visits were especially thorough, and I feel that some of my illnesses were not taken very seriously. The major issue with Dr. Bungay is the office set up and staff. Good luck if you try to call, sometimes you are put on hold indefinitely (my record is 42 minutes!) sometimes they don't answer at all! I have even been hung up on by the receptionist. Email communications are not always good, and prescriptions have often been messed up and sent to wrong places, which becomes really hard to fix when no one will answer the phone!

This doctor sucks. They set the appointment 4 months from when I called. I get stuck in traffic and ahow up 10 minutes late. There is literally no one in the waiting room and they tell me the doctor can't see me. When I ask for the office manager they tell me I'm being rude and need to leave. Save yourself the BS and book another doctor
