If you have a terminal disease in the Myrtle Beach area, and see that Dr. Pakanati is your attending, ask for someone else. Don't even waste your breathe talking to this doctor. He was rude, pretentious, and ignored every issue I had. He refused to give me the medications that I currently am on for a lung disease along with a current medications I'm on for chronic pain. He rolled his eyes every time I spoke and scoffed everytime I spoke. Terrible bedside manner! Terrible doctor!

My husband was a patient at Grand Strand Medical Center recently. He was seen by Dr. Pakanati. We found Dr. Pakanati to be rude, condescending and arrogant. We would not recommend him as a doctor to anyone. We will never accept him as a doctor at Grand Strand again. We plan to voice a complaint to the hospital admin. also.
