Dr. Krista Schwarz, MD

Dr. Schwarz is a wonderful doctor! She really listens to me and takes into consideration my knowledge of how my body works with its quirks, and doesn't dismiss my experiences because I fall outside of the average person. This doesn't mean she always thinks I'm right (nor am I), but she does listen and then appropriately plans next steps. She has a calm manner and has a wonderful breadth of medical knowledge. If you are thinking of joining a medical practice, you can't go wrong with Dr. Schwarz!

I would not recommend Dr. Krista Schwarz to anyone she is downright rude, she is not a patient advocate, nor does she care about your problems. I have severe TMJ have already had two surgeries now waiting for a bilateral joint replacement and reconstruction. I switched PCPs for other reasons and she lectured me with an high tone attitude about the medications I took and told me I was and borderline underweight (my weights fine) . Do not see this doctor. Dr. Schwarz continuously makes errors on diagnosis when billing insurance. She has "diagnosed" me on billing statements that she has not even discussed with me in person, causing my doctor bill to be almost $150 more than the copay I expect. I'm not sure if this is her way of trying to make more money and treat healthcare even more like a business?

She was my primary care physician when I recommended her to my Mother. I regret the recommendation because shortly after I got my Mom in, I quit seeing Krista. She misdiagnosed my double pneumonia (stating that I didn't have it, so I went to Mercy ER, and the doctor said that I clearly did have double pneumonia). I felt like she never really listened to me and seemed to not care at all. My Mom continued to see her until recently. We fired her for a major blunder. Big NO from our family!

Talk about luck! I picked her off my provider list when I changed insurance providers and I couldn't have picked someone better. I have a very rare disease and she no doubt did her homework and has been so knowledgeable, compassionate and helpful. She works closely with my doctors at Mayo to make sure I get the best and latest care possible. My wife was so impressed she started seeing her too. My parents just moved to OKC and started seeing her as well. She gives us all great care and outcomes!
