I absolutely love her! She is the best GYN and if anyone feels differently, I am so sorry you feel that way, maybe someone was having an off day, which your entitled to but she is an amazing Doctor and I never want her to retire. lol

Phenomenal Dr. She listens to her patients concerns and explains everything clearly to help the patient make an informed decision. She has a wonderful bedside manner and would trust her thoroughly as mine and my families OB/GYN.

I never really write reviews, but after finding experience I had, I felt like I needed to . I requested to have my IUD removed after having it for 5 years. Prior to that, I have been on birth control for 9 years. I wanted to see how my body adjusted without any hormones. I have NEVER been so disrespected or judged in my life by that decision, especially by a doctor. I was shocked by the lack of support and professionalism I experienced today.

Please don't waste your time, Dr. Aversa certainly wouldn't. At the last of a year's worth of fertility testing, she had neither looked at my chart nor bothered to know where I was in the checklist she herself gave me. Her temperament is impatient, clinical, and aloof. If you want to build a compassionate healthcare team, I recommend looking elsewhere.

You may find this odd that a husband is leaving a review but when your wife characterizes the experience of working with Dr. Aversa's office as "feeling like I'm being chased by a bill collector" - there's an issue. The office has been badgering my wife to schedule an elective procedure and in the process refused to fill her birth control prescription. Holding care hostage is an interesting practice but maybe our experience is unique; then again the office manager was dismissive so who knows.

As another physician, could not recommend her more highly. I had an IUD placed by her a few years ago and she is unbelievably thoughtful about your experience - premeditating with misoprostol and doing a local cervical block so you barely feel anything. I took a Tylenol before the procedure and went straight back to work after (and was horrified by my friends' stories about being in agony for days and needing narcotics!). Office staff also very friendly, efficient, and responsive.

Supposed minor office procedure led to ER visit after she convinced me I did not need to be seen for uncontrolled bleeding. She was dismissive and condescending. Post care instructions were hold pressure...thats it. Then bills me for after ER visit where she did not even touch me.

I love Dr. Aversa! She takes the time to talk to you about your year, what's going on in your life, and seems to really care about your health. I used to go to her at her previous practice and changed to Generations when I found out she had moved. I always trust her advice and recommend her to anyone who is looking.
