Dr. Kristen Lawson, MD

Worst bedside manner. Had her for delivery of my second baby and she had no regard to the safety of my newborn. My water broke early and she was the on call doctor overnight, and I had told her many times that I needed to be a c section bc I couldn’t have a vaginal delivery. She ignored that and had me pushing several times, putting my baby at risk. Plus I couldn’t get numb so I begged to be put under completely. She was against it and waited so long til my contractions were on top of each other. So if my baby wasn’t going to come out vaginally and I couldn’t get numb, how the heck was my baby going to come out! I never want her again

I had the best annual visit with Dr. Lewis. She is incredibly kind and walked me through the entire visit- asking for consent at each step which was really important to me. She made me so comfortable and it was a quick visit. I will definitely be continuing with Dr. Lewis!!

I would give this physician zero stars if possible. She completely dismissed my concerns and treated me as if I was an idiot and not worth her time. I left VPFW feeling completely humiliated, and once I got to my car I cried for 15 minutes. I have seen other doctors in this practice and my previous visits were all excellent. I don't think I will ever go back after my traumatizing experience with Dr. Lewis.

Absolutely awful experience here because of this doctor. She is fresh out of med school and it definitely shows as she refuses to do many services other providers do because she’s “too uncomfortable.” She comes across very sweet at first, but you will quickly learn it’s all an act and she is incredibly rude. She actually walked out of the office while I was in the middle of asking questions about a procedure and just never came back. I wish I could give her zero stars.
