Excellent PCP
I have been seeing Dr. Paulus for almost 10 years now and she has always listened if I felt there was anything weird happening and always orders the appropriate tests to rule out any possibilities. She is diligent about recommending vaccines that are appropriate for my age. I never feel rushed when I see her and she always takes sufficient time to review all of my issues. I would recommend her to anyone.

I am very fond of my PCP, so glad I found her several years ago. With a kind soft spoken approach, Dr Paulus listens attentively, is knowledgeable & values your input. You’re always met by friendly, courteous staff at the office or by phone. In addition, timely care coordination with other services, providers has been a plus. Highly recommend this provider!

I had my first in-person appt scheduled with my regular PCP in the same practice. I had some issues I needed addressed in person. After THREE cancellations, and being rescheduled out 2 more months, I pushed the staff to get in the same week. I was given an appt with Dr Paulus 2 days later. I had right sided rib pain and irregular heart beat that I could feel. She ordered PT, Xrays of my ribs and chest. I had no history of palpitations and she did NOT do an EKG but referred me to a cardiologist (whom I did not see for 2 more weeks). She also said it wasn't a heart attack as I had no heavy chest pain or left arm pain! As a former cardiac nurse and one who reads, women rarely if ever have the 'classic' heart attack symptoms that men do. After 2 days I had to call for Xray results as I wasn't comfortable starting PT until the results. In addition, I had felt a small painful lump on my abdomen. She felt it, I winced. Her response?!! " if it hurts when you touch it, don't touch it"!!! That's

Good doctory BUT long waits (up to 3 hrs). Seems to treat several patients at the same time so she is very distracted. Hard to get more than a few min of her attention.

Unfortunately, Dr Paulus has been to busy to see me for almost a year and even bumps appts they set with me months prior. I do not know what has changed, because she was for 6 years, an amazing Dr. But if I can’t see her or PA’s because they are overbooked, and get advised to go to a walk in medical facility over and over, my health is too important to tolerate this. Disappointed as she and this office were at one time stellar.

Love Dr. Paulus. I have been coming to her for over 20 years. Very thorough. I have multiple things going on heath-wise, and I always feel confident in her decisions. I moved over an hour away 10 years ago, and still keep her as my primary doctor she is that good.

I WAS a patient of Dr Paulus for over 20 years. She also did my breast exams and gynecology exams. All was well for 14 years. Once she relocated to Rand location, it changed. I became a caregiver for my husband which is currently ongoing and 1st line of stress. 2nd, I had hysterectomy years ago and need hormones. And on anti-anxiety meds. She began to suggest I come off everything and replace with yoga and meditation and group therapy. Last year I needed a letter for “medical necessity “ and it took 2 1/2 months to get it. The staff was sending all info to wrong place. Instead of asking me, they kept telling me it had been sent. When I finally figured it out, Kristen ‘s nurse and I had become fast enemies. And she became very condescending. Kristen asked me what my gyno doc said about my hormone meds I reminded her that she had been my gyn doc 20 years. Final slap was suggesting a psychiatrist. I left her “care” and chose new doctor. I became a number. Will never recommend her again!

Dealing with Dr. Paulus's office for anything other than routine visits is like something out of a dystopian nightmare. I was in severe back pain and called the office. They said to come in, but I was unable to get out of bed because of the muscles spasms. I asked for a single muscle relaxant pill to be called in so I could get up and be driven to the office. They refused to call in even one pill without seeing me. Had to call an ambulance and use the emergency room.

I've been a patient of Dr Paulus for over 15 years and know her to be understanding and a great doctor. She's not afraid to send you for testing when you have something wrong with you that isn't obvious. She listens while you explain your symptoms and bases her diagnostics on her knowledge from your history. She's easy to talk to and explains as much as you want to know. Thank you Dr Paulus.
