Dr. Kristin Karim, MD

My son got hurt playing football in Minnesota in 2022 it was a very serious hand injury if it wasn't for Dr. Karim I do not think the out come would have been the same. Dr. Karim is nothing short of a genius in her field and excellent, excellent surgeon. I truly believe my son could have lost his hand if we didn't meet Dr. Karim. We got blessed with Dr. Karim I will forever be grateful to her. Dr. Karim was also so patient with me as a parent with a million questions and with my son's after care.

Through my own research and experience in the orthopedics industry, I chose Dr. Karim. Traveling three hours each way was a small price for her exceptional care. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of a world class orthopedic surgeon.I had the unfortunate experience of suffering a distal radius fracture, but I was incredibly fortunate to have Dr. Karim as my surgeon. From the first consultation, she was extremely friendly and approachable while also being honest and realistic about my expectations. She took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure, recovery process, and potential challenges, ensuring I felt informed and comfortable every step of the way.The surgery itself went smoothly, and thanks to Dr. Karim’s skill and expertise, my recovery has progressed exactly as she predicted. I appreciated that she never overpromised results but instead provided a clear and accurate picture.

Just saw Dr. Karim for my last check-in following hand and clavicle surgery. From beginning to end, she’s been perfect, I couldn’t have asked for any better. I healed from the injury at an amazing rate, every time I had a question, she emailed back, personally, within the hour (unheard of) and she was always cheerful and positive. Really glad I lucked out in getting her after my injury. 10 out 10, would break bones again.

Dr. Karim saved my hand, and is working to save one of my fingers. I'm very grateful.

Everything was excellent

She was warm and caring and extremely efficient the way she handlers my problem. Did X-rays first to see exactly where the pain shots should be given. I would recommend her to anyone having hand problems. I felt so confident with her and I definitely would let her operate on my thumb. However,she was filling in for Dr Ryan Zimmerman so I feel if for some. Reason he couldn’t do the surgery. I felt she was such a capable doctor. Lots of bedside manner.

The Doc and staff are very helpful. The positive professionalism when one is recovering from an injury and surgery makes this a great place to go to.

I had a post op visit with Dr. Karim today. She has a great bedside manner and confidence in what she is doing. Also takes patients questions seriously.

Complete attention was given to the patient by each member of the practice.

Dr. Karim took the time to explain everything clearly, ensuring we understood the diagnosis and treatment plan. She was patient, compassionate, and truly attentive to my child’s needs. It’s clear she genuinely cares about her young patients. We feel fortunate to have had such a positive experience with him, and I would highly recommend Dr. Karim to any parent!
