Dr. Kristin Riley, MD

In early 2025, my wife was operated on by Kristin Riley for a medical condition at Penn State Hershey. A few hours after she had been operated on, she was prematurely discharged home and told to follow up. My wife bled through her abdomen and stained and soiled all the sheets of our bed and had to be taken to the nearest ER for evaluation. She was then transferred back to Penn State Hershey where she had to be treated in THEIR ER and then discharged home again with pain and bleeding. As a family member of one of Dr Riley’s patients, I had requested Dr Riley to keep my wife in the hospital overnight to help her recuperate adequately. But the fact that Dr Riley insisted on discharging her prematurely only a few hours after major surgery endangered her well being and safety. My appeal to all is to use the services of a different and better surgeon in the area. Dr Riley seems to consider patient care and safety a secondary concern.

She was my gynecologist through out my first pregnancy and we couldn’t have been more satisfied. Now I might need to see a gynecologist again and I wouldn’t loom around!
