Do not take your children to this woman!!!
Dr. Jinir is INCOMPETENT and COMPLETELY LACKS EMPATHY. She was AWFUL to my struggling 15 year old daughter. Dr. Jinir has no business working with children! I am disgusted that Nationwide Children’s Hospital continues to employ her!! On top of her horrible attitude, she completely failed to ask in-depth questions prior to prescribing medication and no one returned my calls when I called her office to report her terrible behavior.

My experiences with Dr. Jiner have always been very professional. She is direct and to the point, does not put up with a lot of nonsense, which is exactly what you want from your child's psychiatrist. She has helped my daughter immensely, and I would recommend her to anyone who wants to see results.

Our experience with Dr. Jiner has been disappointing. Her bedside manner is non-existent. When she enters the room, she does not shake your hand. She sits across the room as if we and our son have a contagious infection. Her interactions with our son would leave one to believe that she did not train in pediatrics. Her lack of follow-up is appalling. It is even more upsetting when she prescribes mood-altering medications and doesn't respond promptly. I wouldn't recommend her.

0/5 Dr. Jiner does not know how to speak or interact with children. Her tone, style and pace of questioning are not all at conducive to supporting children with mental health concerns. Personality aside, the complete disregard for the importance of communication when beginning new medication is appalling. I have never had a physician ignore as many calls or drop the ball on collecting information from other physicians as Dr. Jiner. It's scary that she is in charge of medicating kids.

Dr. Jiner should be reported for Malpractice. She prescribes medication to my child, refuses to follow up or reschedule him for 2.5 months although he is having side effects. She then proceeds to not return my calls, the nurses won't either. Then, when I threaten to report her, she tells me to take my child to the ER. A child psychiatrist should NOT place a child on medication if she has no intention of following up. In addition to this, she doesn't explain diagnosis or treatment.

If we could put zero stars we would. She spent 5-10 minutes with our son and made an unreasonable diagnosis and recommendation against our wishes. She has zero bedside manner and her demeanor is very patronizing. It is very scary to me that this incompetent and deaming person has the authority to make life changing decisions for our most vulnerable children.
