Dr. Kurt Bausback, MD

He asked me questions. He really took a interest in me and my health, especially my heart.

Br Bausback engaged immediately when a routine stress test found blockages. He had me in surgery for successful staged interventions within weeks. His bedside manner gives confidence to his patients. His office is run professionally and wait times are always reasonable.

I switched from a different cardiologist's care because all he seemed to want me to do were stress tests every time I saw him. Even with an abnormal result back in 2016, the previous guy did nothing. In 2022 Dr Bausback listened to my concerns and scheduled an angiogram once the previous cardiologist FAXED my records (and images) to him (talk about sour grapes). The angiogram turned into an angioplasty while in the cath lab, and Dr Bausback placed a stent in an artery that was 95% blocked. This should have been done back in 2016 with the other guy, but he was too busy making money on stress tests. I have not had a single episode of angina since the stent. This guy is top notch, and all physicians should take a page from his playbook.

Dr. Bausback has been my cardiologist for about 19 years. Has treated me ever since I had four bypasses done in Dec 2002. I would recommend him highly. He is not rushed, listens to my concerns and issues, and has only had one inability to treat a minor symptom (that existed prior to my seeing him, and the previous cardiologist was at a loss too). He has done a few stents for me since my bypasses, but only when it was quite clear that I needed them (one was due to a bypass artery shutting within a year after the original surgery). But does not overdo it - a few times, his advice was "wait and see" if the symptoms increase, then we will go in and look. Yeah, do see Dr. Bausback for your cardiac issues!

It took a long time to schedule an appointment with him but once I saw him, he took time to explain and answer all my questions and concerns. He even let me in when I was late for my appointment. Very nice doctor

Dr. Bausback is the best cardiologist. He is knowledgeable, trustworthy, and empathetic. He is also kind and caring. He is specific in telling you what is right or wrong with you. Twenty years ago, I had a heart attach, and Dr. Bausback did my angioplasty. I have been with him ever since. He does not "over test," but always takes the time to examine me to make sure that I'm okay. He gets my highest rating of any doctor that I've ever seen in the 70 years that I've lived. Go to him!
