Dr. Kurt Wiese, MD

He doesn't do VBACs or delayed cord clamp. I didn't feel like he took my birth plan seriously. Others have said he pushes epidurals and is quick to recommend C-section. My 1st was C-sec due to breech; my 2nd was a planned C-sec. He pushed me really hard to get a hysterectomy secondary to C-sec. I'm Latina, 35yo, married, professional. I declined bc I was uncertain if my family was complete. He persisted in bringing it up during every single appt. He asked "Do you REALLY want to be having kids when you're 37?!" So rude and unwelcomed. Plenty of women have children at 37, and some even older than that. He was also oddly opinioned the topic of circumcision, even though as a OB/GYN, that's NOT his lane and he should have deferred to the baby's pediatrician and the parents. He made fun of uncircumsized infants by saying "American women don't dig turtlenecks." It was completely lewd and unprofessional. His "pros" are he's a great surgeon and he didn't micro-manage my gestational diabetes.

Dr. Wiese is short-tempered. If you are over 50 and/or overweight do NOT expect tact, compassion, or even enough interest to review a long-established patient file

Dr. Wiese is amazing! He answers all of my questions and found a medicine that would stop my morning sickness. He listens to what I have to say. When I was in labor he came and checked on me at 2am after he delivered another patients baby. He didn't just leave and that I loved. The ladies that work in the office are amazing especially his MA she always has me laughing.

By far the best doctor I've been to. My kids adore him (he's delivered all of them) and he always takes the time to answer any questions I have. Never feel rushed or shoved out the door. He will see you at EVERY prenatal appt (unlike some others that just show up for delivery). I've had to scheduled to be induced because long gestitation and he never forced me in to having the baby earlier than I really wanted. Excellent bedside manner and great staff.

I went in for my annual exam. When I went into the room with the nurse, she asked if I had any questions for the dr. I said yes, and told her my question. During my exam Dr discussed my question and ordered bloodwork and an ultrasound. When I got my blood work back, Dr advised he forgot to order some of the tests and I would have to have my blood taken again. About 2 weeks later I received a bill for $80. I was told since I asked a question, they billed my insurance for an exam and offi

Dr. Wiese has a great bedside manner. I have found talking to him about medical issues and social issues has been a pleasure. He has gone above and beyond on more than one occasion for me.
