Dr. Kush Goyal, MD

I have been a patient for several years- when we crossed paths at the Back on Track program- I was without hope! I was too afraid to have a 14-17 hour surgery. Every aspect of my life was affected! I finished program and worked with him - it didn’t him long and he made me pain FREE! And I have heard complaints people say he’s arrogant- he’s not- he’s confident in what he’s doing and he should be!! And don’t you WANT the person treating your spine to be confident?! I DO ! I trust him implicitly! And for the record I’m an RN, so I know a great Dr when I see one!! The only thing I don’t like is now everyone knows how amazing he is and I have to wait for my appointments!! He has honestly not only given me my life back but one that can be lived to the fullest!! I can’t thank him enough!

I was a little intimidated coming to Cleveland Clinic but Dr. Goyal and his fellow both made this experience a great one. Dr. Goyal was brisk, efficient yet friendly and kind. He made sure things were going along like he wanted. When the xray process was taking longer than it should, he personally came to me and apologized, making sure I was ok. They both talked to me, not down to me. I've got 2 followup appointments to see how things are progressing. I'm very glad I scheduled my appointment with him.

I will be forever thankful to Dr. Goyal. After many failed attempts to get help from many different doctors in Pittsburgh- 2 trips to Cleveland has made my life so much better. Dr. Goyal listened and helped. By far the best doctor I have ever had.

Dr. Goyal was very arrogant and condescending. Talked bad about some of the other doctors that I have seen, and even saying they don't know what they are talking about. I felt he didn't really care about the pain that I have been experiencing and was wasting his time. I will not be going back to him.

Dr.Goyal has made my life so much better by letting me manage my pain until such time that things deteriorate to the point where we may need to bring out the knives... He's a real joy to interact with~I look forward to our visits in person, he gets my sense of humour and that helps take the edge off whenever I'm having a bad day. That really counts for a lot in my book, too many Dr's take everything so seriously that your visits leave you feeling doomed. Not Dr. Goyal! And his staff at Lutheran Hospital are great, too. My procedures have been helpful, I always feel like I'm in good hands. Telephone appointments are going well, he's always ON TIME (unlike my other Dr's!) but, I can't wait to be able to go back live! It's swell that he's in Fairview Hosp. now, although I resent having to pay so much to PARK there. I recommend him highly.

De. Goyal is the kind of doctor everyone wants. He has been incredibly helpful with my chronic pain issues. Dr. Goyal listens to his patients and treats you the way you should expect to be treated. He has personally called at times to see if procedures helped and is most concerned about doing what is right for the person and addressing their situation . I don't know why more doctors are not as concerned about their patients well being as Dr. Goyal has been .

Dr. Goyal is a people person. Explains everything, and takes time to make sure you understand your situation. After nearly seven years of treatment by another doctor, Dr. Goyal was able to help by reducing my back pain to the point where I could function nearly normally.
