Great office visit
Friendly staff. Nice office. Timely appointment. The nurse that did the initial check-in was very pleasant. Dr Shelton is very friendly and knowledgeable. She was very through and explained everything to my understanding. I never felt rushed. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Shelton has performed over 50 surgeries for me
She always explains everything fully, even possible outcomes good or bad. She has been very patient with me. She has been trying to prevent amputation since 2018 (post radiation complications) and she hasn't given up yet. 50 something surgeries and many OR hours later, shes still hanging in there! Very skilled in her field and always makes my time with her important. Dr. Simmons her partner has been with me just as long. I wouldn't hesitate to send anyone to her. Staff always very friendly and professional. She accepts my medicare and private insurance. She also tries to find the least invasive way of treating me possible, even though she is a surgeon, she's always very hesitant to operate unless absolutely necessary. She also has a way about her that is very calming and reassuring. She truly cares about her patients. I absolutely love Dr. Shelton and her crew!

Doesn't accept Medicare or AARP United Health Insurance. Her office doesn't tell you that until 2 days Before the appointment even though they had the patient and insurance information 2+ weeks in advance
