Shoulder injury
He came in never introduced himself, had my x-ray pulled up on his laptop never examined my arm shoulder told me what was wrong with me. All of 10 to 15 minutes of my visit gave me an injection. Told me he seen me back in four weeks. Did not like his bedside manner was not expecting to see a sports med doctor I was expecting to see an orthopedic doctor, not happy with him nor the visit the staff was very friendly still to the say after a couple weeks, so have pain in my shoulder even after the injection he is not the right or appropriate doctor for me to see for my injury I do not have a sports injury he needs to learn to approach people with a better understanding of their condition and have a little bit more sympathy that they are in pain instead of rushing to see the next patient

Total lack of effective patient communication skills. He did not seem interested in my case or well- being at the visit, or in the future. I was surprised, given the reputation of Steadman Hawkins. Dr. Cassas was totally devoid of warmth. Maybe a bad day? Showing concern and compassion, along with having good clinical skills, is very important to those in pain and afraid. I am not an athlete, nor am I 20-30. Perhaps that was part of the problem. But, I do have, I hope, many years left and want to be mobile, and as pain- free as possible, so that I might live my life to the fullest. I like hiking, dancing, swimming, cycling. I think focusing on insurance questions right at the beginning, to the exclusion of other topics, was inappropriate. It only added to my stress. And, I do have insurance. In short, I was extremely disappointed. We’ll see how the next visit goes. This would have been a three, but for some proactive measures he took once he focused on my medical issues.

Awful! I had some pain in my knee. Went to see him, he did an injection. My knee swelled up and I can't put any weight on it. When I called to see if he would look at it again I was told they had done all they could do for me! I could at least put weight on it before and now I'm walking with a cane!
